Here is an attempt at recreating the race for 4E:

Half-Giant
Average Height: 7' 1˝ – 7' 5˝
Average Weight: 320–350 lb.
Ability Scores: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution
Size: Medium
Speed: 6 squares
Vision: Low-light
Languages: Common, Giant
Skill Bonuses: +2 Endurance
Oversized: You can use weapons of your size or one size larger than you as if they were your size.
Stomp: You can use stomp as an encounter power.
Stomp Half-Giant Racial Power
You drive your boot into the ground causing your enemies to stumble or fall.
Encounter
Standard Action Close Blast 3
Attack: Strength +2 vs. Fort
Increase to +4 at 11th level, +6 at 21st level.
Hit: 1d6 + Strength modifier damage, and the target is pushed 1 or knocked prone.
Increase the damage to 2d6 + Strength modifier at 11th level and 3d6 + Strength modifier at 21st level.

I based it off of the Minotaur and just adjusted the values. Here is a run down for comparison:

Gained Low-Light vision
Gained extra language: Giant
Gained +2 bonus to Endurance
Lost +2 bonuses to Nature and Perception
Lost Ferocious racial ability
Replaced goring charge with stomp

So the question is: Is this race still balanced? Does the loss of one skill bonus offset the gains in language and vision? Is the stomp power powerful enough to offset the loss of ferocious? Should the stomp power be a minor action to bring it in line with the Earthsoul Genasi power? Does this capture the flavor of the Half-Giant properly?
