PS3 Controllers Synch?

Anyways, to make a long story short, my two buddies both have PS3s with two controllers each, and now we want to synch a third controller for Eternal Sonata. I've tried just pressing the PS3 button on the controllers for the PS3 we aren't using, but they just blink and blink and blink and don't really do anything.

Any advice?

Try charging the batteries on it. I've never had problems with using my friends' controllers unless the batteries were almost dead.

To synch PS3 controllers, hook it up with the charging cable and press the PS button.
