It's a friend's birthday tomorrow and I need to make him a cake with a friend...
Anyone got a good recipe? Probably gonna make chocolate...but taking any other suggestions too...

What's the best cake you've ever had?


Best I have ever had was a "triple chocolate fudge cake", which had a layer of dark chocolate, a layer of dark/milk chocolate and a layer of milk chocolate. Unfortunately it was so rich, if you ate more than one slice you would feel like chucking...

I've made a few, best being a triple chocolate cheesecake that I'm constantly bugged to make for people (sorry, no recipe sharing...family secret). Although as far as actual cakes, I'm still fond of using our Mario mold, and I'm lazy enough that I normally use box mixes...

One of these days, I'm going to try and do a d20 cake.
