Reality: A non-OotS art-oriented webcomic

The Reality is my second webcomic personal project and is the first time I try to explore the non-OotS world. Well... As you can see from the comics is not totally non-OotS, but hey, at least is not a full OotS-Style.

About (General):

Reality is about a group of characters that find themselves in a strange an peculiar world where, apparently, nothing is fully static. They met inside this brave new world and as they try to figure out what is going on they will learn about each other. Well, I don't want to give much of the story away, so just get some popcorn and read a bit.

Really ? There are only two differences with traditional OotS-art: the lack of outlines (and some OotS-style artists do that) and fully shaped arms (which is used by some OotS-style artists, too).

The main thing that separates Oots from other stick-figure arts are the arms and legs (amoungst other smaller details). Changing that pretty much changes the style.
This- with the lack of outline, the layout and the over all style for the background makes it a non-Oots comic.
If you were to be that picky about every stick-figure comic, you could say that they were all Oots-ish.
You can clearly see that art has been inspired by Oots, but that doesn’t make it Oots.

I'm not familiar with EXÜBERANCE, but I will search for it as soon as I get this damn virus out of my PC. I feel I must point out that the main objective of this webcomic is not to make anyone laugh (well... not always), but to tell a story. If you are looking for laughs + webcomic made by me I recommend The Prestige :smallbiggrin:

I know I said you could count me as a fan a while back, but you know what? To be honest, I think you should focus on The Prestige, I think that one is much better. This is still okay, and pretty funny to look at, but there's more going on in TP, wich makes it more fun to read. For me anyway, I'm not the only reader.

Very unique. I can't say I've been in the fanart section for quite a while; It's definitely been longer than 6 months. This was the first one I popped into, and, although I'm still kinda confused, and I really wasn't motivated to continue for the first fiveish, It's starting to slowly take shape; it's definitely unique, and I'd be interested to see where this goes. I'll be sure check out the Prestige as well :smallsmile:

I'd say you should continue this one, as I really like the feel of the style. The lack of outlines and different hands/feet really makes this unique, and it's really nice to look at. The blending backgrounds are really neat, too.

At first, I was somewhat reluctant to call myself a fan, because it semmed like this was just randomness with no plot or characters. And, to be brutally honest, I actually didn't think this comic would last that long.

However, now that's lasted this long, I find my self awaiting the next comic. I click this comic, hoping that it updating since last time. I think that qualifies me as a fan. And I like the plot that I've seen so far and wish to know more.
