I've been listening to some O-Zone lately (if it's not ringing bells, they did the song commonly known in the US as "Numa Numa"), and from there I got into the solo work of ex-O-Zone member Radu Sirbu, aka RadU. I think it's pretty cool. If you want to listen to some of his stuff, try here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t0R_5x8SeY) and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8PiS3ymX7E).
Also, I hope and trust that Playgrounders will not make YouTubeish stupid comments about how gay he is. He's not, if you're wondering.

I have never heard of this, but I know a guy named Radu. Neutral comment.

Never heard of 'em. When I think of Radu, I think of a super sexy, super evil, fembot from Gaming Guardians (http://gamingguardians.com/gallery/gallery/Radu-Radu2.htm).
Not quite my kind of music personally. The instrumental is catchy, if repetitive, and I like the brassy horns on Whapa, but the vocals just aren't my thing. The whistle tune is cute for the second piece, but the backing beat is rather generic in my opinion. This isn't a condemnation, you like what you like, and who am I to say different. But I like what I like, and I honestly am not enthralled.

It's not my favorite (if you want to know about my favorites, look up Thomas Dolby, Vernian Process, A-ha, and Devo) but I just thought it was kinda fun.
