Why are they doing it so willy-nilly in the summer update? Aren't those supposed to be extremely dangerous? Or is Maggie high enough level that it's not nearly so dangerous?

They formed the link to uncroack the volcano. Apparently, the link is still active?

Why do you think that? That they're doing it willy nilly?

All that has been implied is that they jointly designed the city while linked. Perhaps after the volcano go asplode and they had some free time on their hands, they turned their thoughts to designing a city, thoughts that Sizemore seized upon.

Maybe its that trios are dangerous- With only two casters, its relatively easy.

I think a two-caster link is relatively safe. In this case I don't see it doing much more than giving Sizemore a little more juice or the ability to spread his powers a little further. It isn't until you try mixing forms of casting that things get complicated.

No, Wanda was still linked, they even mention that Maggie, Sizemore, adn Wanda all thought about it.

No, they really do NOT mention anything like that.

Okay, they state on page 54 that it is a fragile and risky spell, with three being especially problematic.

I am assuming they linked up after the volcano uncroaking link up because they seem to have been unlinked in the magic kingdom, and the city was not rebuilt until after Stanley came back, which was after they returned.

If I recall correctly, the city was completely rebuilt before Stanley came back. Remember the whole fireworks ceremony, or the "Think I can hit that tool with a brick?" conversation?

From the rules stated, if there is a Dirtomancer he designates just about everything. My guess is while their minds were linked, the laws of Erfworld forced them to instantaneously discuss what to do next.
Once Sizemore found the funding (all them jewels he blasted out), he set his plan into action. The lava pit may have been a little much, though...

I think there is whole other implication here with this here 'link'.

Namely being...

"Maggie and Sizemore, sitting in a tree. K.I.S.S.I.N.G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes redesigning the banners of the baby carriage."

I think we might get to see the effects of "Naughtymancy" in action.

Well weren't they linked with Wanda still? Or did they link up again after getting back then seperate without showing it in any updates?

That's what I thought.

My theory: Maggie can consistently pull off stable-trilinks. Odds are she's a crazy-awesome Thinkamancer, and thus can pull off bilink and severe it without causing damage.

You could just wait and see Hamster's response. He's probably just as confused as you are.

New Summer Update explains it.

Ah good. At least it was acknowledged as a "Say what?" situation.

Ugh, I think you may actually be right.

Maggie did say that they "discovered a strong rapport".
