I need your opinion: Rogue with maneuvers?

If I made a variant Rogue with a maneuver progression, how many Sneak Attack dice would I have to take away to make it a tier 3 class? If it matters, the recovery method requires you to remain hidden for one round, and you can only learn from two disciplines of your choice.

Probably making it advance every third level instead of every other level would be best, giving it 7d6 at the end.
