And so, as the plastic duck of destiny has been sunk by the loofah of fate, and Old Father Time has gone wrinkly in the bath water of eternity, it must be time to pick out the short hairs of hope from the plug hole of infinity. Looks like it's my (and Ethreal's, but I haven't seen him in a while) birthday.

I myself plan to go quite mad right around retirement age. My goal in life is to be able to act like Professor Farnsworth and have people dismiss it as me just being old.

Thank you for the kind words. It was not however the best birthday. I slept for most of it then only went out for a couple of hours with the sole person in manchester who both remembered my birthday and could be bothered to get out of bed.

I got a book about clouds. That's it.

It was ok as birthdays go. I guess. Most people forgot though.

I dunno. Forty years. Give or take. If I last longer than that the risk of heart attack and chance of going blind go through the rood though. It's not so bad.

That would be because it is a depressing depressing picture courtesy of nedroid picture diary which summed up my feelings for today quite succinctly.
