Actually, there is a reason I do not smile in any of my pictures... Sob story?
My parents could not afford to put braces on me. In fact, I went to the dentist one time in my life as far as parental paid for visits are concerned... My dentist pulled two teeth when I was four years old, but used no anesthetics. That is a form of torture. No jelly, no shots... Just reclined the seat and started pulling. Worst thing is: he wore these glasses with giant lenses. I saw everything in the reflection and was scarred for life. UPDATE:I no longer fear dentists/orthodontists, unfortunately 17 years of not making regular(any) appointments takes a toll on your smile. I say 17 because that is when I went to boot camp and they well. They rip out your wisdom teeth and they are none too generous about it. I started brushing 2-3 times a day after that.
