I was going to suggest the Shroom Ring (after the two most popular power ups), but that has unfortunate implications...

Well, if your being serious, you gotta remember copyright...

I'll think of something later.

Plus remember that the average video game pur-chaser is not all that geeky.

Game Hut? Honestly, you can just use the word "Game" (which you all lost by the way) followed by any type of building and it would work.

Game House
Game Tower
Game Shack

Actually, that last one sounds better, use it.

Game Shack

Almost 100% sure that's taken. And copyrighted.

*thinks* That's a Sonic reference, right?

How about "Overpriced Games that You'll Buy Anyway"? If you're feeling really ambitious, then perhaps adding a "MWAHAHAHAHAHAA!" subtitle underneath would be suitable.

Aside from that, perhaps something that applies to young and old gamers. Something like "The Basement of Doom" (or just "The Basement"). I mean, I used to play video games in my basement. I don't know about all of you. I died a lot too. Stupid Battletoads... They should have been in Brawl!

This isn't a new one. But way back we had a place called Mario's (nor really all that original I guess). But this was also when NES was pretty much the big name in video gaming and pre Blockbuster.

Don't know if any of these are copyrighted, but the purpose of a store name is to direct the customer to what they can find inside, so....

Console Castle
Game Dungeon
Epic Games
Game Base - Are Belong To Us
Game Basement
Press Play
Circle Strafe
First Person Games
Platform Players - may also be spelt - Platform Playa's
Megabyte Games
Console Haven
Box-We-Play Games
Gamebox Station
All Ages Gaming

(If the store buys and sells games)
Game Replay
Game Reset
Game Pwn Shop - Play on Leet speak and the word "Pawn"
Reboot Games
1-Up Games
Extra Lives - Xtra Lives - Extra Life Games - Xtra Life Games

Got to say I personally like the one suggestion in the thread of LFG "looking for games" I think it's fairly witty as most gamers have heard it before. It's witty and a play on words.

In short I second that proposal.
