Firstly let's get the pun out of the way. You could say that this picture is Burlesque. Moving on.
I've recently been experimenting with the Order of the Stick's quasi stick-figure style art, and have attempted to convert that into a more bodied figure. Here's what I've got so far.

Yeah, the eyes. Couldn't get anything with those. I traced some anime-style eyes, but that put it right into the Uncanny Valley. that's what I need the most help with. How should I do it? just black dot?
