Making comics the right size?

When I make oots-style comics I usually take a picture of Oots and compare my templates to it, but when I upload it and view it in say a forum its usually much smaller and not easily read as Oots is.

My solution thus far is to continue as above but using the transform tool to double the size.

Is there a better way? The image file from this site doesn't seem to correspond properly.

When exporting your vector graphics file to a raster image, there is usually an option to adjust the dimensions of the image. In Inkscape, this is on the Export dialogue, along with the dpi (which should be 90 if you want imported images to export to the same size). Try setting the dimensions to something around 700px by 1000px, and it should be roughly the same size as OotS.
