This is pretty much the place I'll be posting my art. It was originally just going to be an avatar place, but, hey, I figured if Crimmy got so irked, I might as well get my other art here, too, and make it legit. So, whenever I get a creative urge, I'll scan and upload anything I draw for your scrutiny, Playgrounders.

Art Final in 10th Grade
So, this one was a doozy to make. Maybe a week of drawing, and then a week and a half of shading. I did get an awesome grade, though, my school's dislike for fantasy notwithstanding.

Ebert Ungart
So, basically I'm in this D&D campaign with some friends, and one player has this character named Ebert. He's a dwarf fighter, and probably the dumbest one you'll ever meet (alongside some substantial wisdom drain). Being a low-almost-no-magic campaign, he's pretty B.A., as he never seems to die no matter how much the player tries to kill him off.

MEIRNON!
The character that started my name. He really wasn't my first character... but he was the first one I made a serious backstory for. This is the one that made my love of role-playing advance to the level where they actually seem like real characters instead of a typical one-dimensional cleave-path fighter almost all of us start off as.

My Party
So, I decided, with a little nudging from my friends, to draw the party we play. So, it took me all night while playing and drinking mountain dew until I was sure I was diabetic, but I finished it. Oh, and apparently the party's called "The Love Pirates", because somehow our only other option was "Caravandaliers".

Strance Stuff
So, there once was this game I played called Strance: The Pulp Superhero game. It was actually pretty good. The problem, though, was the GM had trouble doing anything at all, even when I was on his arse as the co-GM. I usually had to make stuff up. And some stuff I made up where these character pictures and junk. These are actually all the ones I made, but there were more players. I never was able to finish all of them. I might decide to finish them just for the players, though.

Actually, the reason I wanted to do it on my own was so that
1) When I update it, it doesn't go ignored
and
2) I don't make multiple posts on the current thread

It's just my avatar thread. I'm just posting my inkscape stuff here, and all I make in inkscape are avatars, and anyone's free to use them. Sorry if I offended you, but the only difference between this and any other personal art thread here is that I'm allowing people to adopt my avatars.

Uh, and what's the reason behind the Avatar Adoption Center?
As far as I remember it's made to allow other people to request the adoption of an avatar.

Also, it won't go unnoticed if you update your signature, or something like that. Like me. I have a link to my avatars, and when I feel like updating the list, I will simply say so in my signature.

Unless it were something like V's sketch thread, or Kasanip's sketch thread, or others like that, I would strongly suggest you move this to the Adoption Center.

I wouldn't mind putting up my pencil drawings and such alongside my adoptable avvies. And if I did, would that make a difference to unwritten-rule-mongers like yourself?

I never got touchy. I was being sardonic. I didn't realize that you took the word "monger" with such a negative connotation. I'm actually glad you helped, as I don't want to make a negative impression (despite my lack of tact).

I was going more for the first definition. That's how I normally associate the word in my speech patterns. Never meant it as an insult.

And thanks for the compliment (if it was even aimed at me?). I try hard, and often my pictures take waaaaay too long to be made on a constant and credible basis.

I had actually just finished Minish Cap a month or so before that, I think. I just started off drawing a fruit-shaped head and building off of that, so that might have influenced it.

It would have taken you a lot less time without the whitespace due to lower file sizes. :smallwink:
