The mother of battles: Betty vs. Veronica

While I have found the last "Hero-X vs. Heroman" posts very illustrating, I have felt the need to ask the biggest puzzle ever presented to me in a comic book:

If you were Archie Andrews, would it be the rich, spoiled, sexy, Veronica or the beatiful, good-natured, true Betty?

Betty. Definitely Betty.

And it's not because she's blonde, it's because she's not manipulative and self-centered. At least not as much as Veronica.

Veronica and Reggie totally deserve each other.

I also liked Mary Ann better on Gilligan's Island.

Um... we're supposed to pick Betty, as readers. That's the whole point of the comics. The comics' point of view is that Betty has all these great qualities, and Veronica has few to none, except money and (sometimes) beauty.
