As many of you know, [DeviantArt] (deviantart.com) is the biggest online art community around. It is a great way to share your art with others, receive cretique, and have an all-around good time. I've made this thread so you can meet up with fellow deviants on giant in the playground.

The search bar used to be everywhere. Now it's only accessible from the home page. And pictures take longer to load for some people, including me. That's very annoying and frustrating.

That, and the principle of the thing. Nothing was broken. Why did they "fix" it? It just seems like messing around with stuff to make it seem like they're working hard, even when there's no need for change.

For me it also takes unnecessarily long to load. Also it sucks that you dont get the full artist's comments for a deviation without klicking that "more" button. That only discourages people from reading the given information.
And the results of such a thing you can see on youtube pretty much everywhere.

How's your experience with it? I just do amateurish photography with a standard digicam for fun(mostly castles, I'm afraid my friends are bored to tears meanwhile:smallwink:), but I'd like to get some advice. Do the deviant provide members some actually helpful opinions?
