Hi can anyone help me? I'm a girl from Iceland and I would like to get a tatto in Quenya - tengwar annatar. I want the word "love" .. is it meles or melmė ? Please help :)

According to the dictionary I have, 'love' as a noun is probably melmė, but may also have been written as meles and melessė. Actually, I'll just post the entry:
LOVE (vb, love as friend) mel- (melinyes and melin sé I love him, VT49:15, 21). LOVE (noun) melmė (LT1:262 has meles, melessė); LOVELY melwa, LOVING nilda (friendly), méla (affectionate), BELOVED melda (dear, sweet), LOVER meldo (pl meldor is attested), melindo (m.), melissė (f.); LOVEABLE melima (fair), ķrima (desirable) MEL, LT1:262, WJ:412, NIL, VT39:11, ID

That's how I would write "melmė" in tengwar. You may want a second opinion on all of this, though.

melmė sounds right, not Meles for sure, and Melessė sounds a bit more Sindarin then Quenya to me.
But my Quenya is quite rusty..so... >.>
