Only 3 races? What about halfling, gnome, half-orc, and goblin? I am not amused.

The character creation looks too simillar to world of Warcraft. That is my only criticism.

I quite liked Lineage II, although it involved alot more grinding and alot less questing.

Character creation and login look cool.
The game itself looks very weak. Stick figures walking on flat green field with a background. I would get bored very quickly, that's for sure.
It matches the comic, which is a plus.

That is so cool.
If I didn't hate MMOs, I'd totally play that.

Looks pretty cool, keep up the good work:smallbiggrin: I played World of Warcraft myself, and I agree it does look quite like it, BUT is that a bad thing?:smallamused:

"The bard can cast arcane spells from the bard spell list. He can cast any spell he knows--" etc. etc.
compare:
"Wizards do not know how to wear armour efficiently."
Why is the fact that wizards cannot wear armour listed as their first class feature instead of, say, the fact that they can cast spells? This offends me greatly :smalltongue:

Permission issues.
If you click the links or show them then they wont show, you get a permission denied error.
But if you copy/paste the links then they work fine after a refresh and then it all shows in this thread as well. lol.

I don't play WoW, so I don't really have a basis for comparison, but man, that looks cool!
I'm not totally sure about the "Starting zone", though. There's something... off about the way the grass is cut off from the horizon. That should be possible to do more dynamically (maybe it'd be enough to just cut off the black line?).
Also, I don't understand why it says "on-line" on the Login? Shouldn't that just be, y'know... "online"?
"OTS" is missing an o, too.
Still, really cool! I'd play, if I wasn't thoroughly bored by MMORPGS in general :smallwink:

"OTS" is missing an o, too.
Probably due to copyright issues. :smalltongue:

No. the face is another O.
You could probably have a random face there each time it starts up too. lol.
And On-Line is correct because it is two words.

I sorta picture it as an MMO with a sort paper mario look. 2D characters, 3D world.

YES! That would be SO AWESOME!

Hmm 2D characters in a 3D world could get a little messy for an MMO.
Unless you mean literally just a plane so it is possible to look at just a thin line from some angles. lol.
But I could use a perspective-dependant bill-board. Kind of like how particles work. But then it would need to calculate the sprite for each player every frame which may get intensive.
Far easier to have 2D objects in a 2D world and use sizing and height to denote distance.
