Comic Book Writer WANTED!

Hey guys & gals,
I'm currently developing a comic, game & film website/community. I'm after an enthusiastic person who would be interested in writing a 4-6 box short webcomic script on a weekly basis. The writer will have full creative reign over the characters & narrative as long as they are loosely related to comic books, video games, films and everyday life. This is an UNPAID position as the website is brand-new and is currently self-funded by myself. We already have an artist on-board so we are now looking for a writer.

Do you mean I make a daily script for a person that watches and talks about films, comics and games or do I have to make a comic that has no relation to any film comic game cirrently made?
Excuse my leak of english but this sounds good and I want to understand the terms right. :smallbiggrin::smallbiggrin:

Basically we are looking for a writer to come up with a short comic script each week, which our artist can then illustrate. The writer will have to create the characters and a storyline/theme which he/she can follow from week to week. We are wanting to stay away from the more fantasy driven comics and head towards the more everyday life/comedy comics (some examples: www.buttonpress.net (http://www.buttonpress.net/comic137.html) www.penny-arcade.com (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/1998/12/9/) www.balls2that.com (http://www.balls2that.com/)). The writer can choose to write about whatever they want, we just thought it might be an idea to have it related to videos game or comics as the website it will be posted on is a comic, game & film site/forum.
