View Full Version : Art Request - Evil Pine Tree

I want to attach some artwork fir my entry in the Homebrew Monster Contest (which happens to be an evil Treant-ish Plant that disguises itself as a pine tree), but I'm miserable at drawing stuff. So if anyone's willing to help me spruce it up a bit, I'd appreciate it.

More details:

Google failed me, but I found this black-and-white off some music album cover that I like...both the greyscale drawing, and the menacing pose of the 'tree'. So, something between this:

yeah, the Redneck Tree is funny, but that's not what I'm after. Something closer to the evil robot tree piloted by the cat in PvP, if anyone's familiar.

Well, you can use this old erfstyle tree I have. Not a pine. But it might work.
(and no I don't know the pvp reference).

I tried doing an evil pine, but it just keeps coming out cheezy. Maybe someone else will come up with one.

That's fairly good actually, I like it. it's occurred to me somewhat belately that the Felpine Shambler doesn't actually have a mouth right now, but since it's quite hard to tell what something is with just eyes, I'll reverse-engineer and give it a bite attack.

Err, nothing really. Tried to come up with something myself, but couldn't make it look good enough.
