The Void

[Rawhide]

Rawhide walks into the void and looks at the empty nothingness around him.

[Lilly]

Lilly begins weaving forms around the void....

[Rawhide]

Rawhide looks in amazement as vague and insubstantial objects and people gradually form from nothing, through something indistinct, to something somewhat solid.

[Lykan]

*An orb of golden light floats up to greet the adventurers. If one looks closely, one can see that it is encased in a nearly invisible crystalline shell.*

A tiny flicker of white light drifts aimlessly around the void, threatened with being crushed by the endless darkness, yet still most definately and defiantly there.

(Yes, this was a bit on an in-joke, the new 'The Town' board was completely empty when I walked in/posted.)

My orb floats up to investigate the Rogue's orb.

The tiny white light is unresponsive to any stimuli. Occasional waves of nothingness batter it about like a dropped tissue in the middle of the ocean. At times, it seems almost on the point of dispersing and breaking up, but nevertheless, it holds together.

[Renrik]

Pools of sorrow, waves of joy, are drifting through my open mind. Inciting and inviting me.

[Amiria]

Amiria enters the void, curls up into a ball and falls asleep.

Amiria unfurls and exits the void.

[Death, your friend the Reaper]

*From whence he came and comes from again Death again leaves the void to fufil his duties to the planes*

images of broken light that dance before me like a million suns, they call me on and on across the universe.

[Trog]

Trog drifts by

Space: The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Town.

*Pulls out cigarette case and gets out a cigarette which twirls in the void, staying in tandem with Trog as he puts the case back. Grabs the cigarette. Puts in mouth. Flicks lighter. Nothing happens. Flick. Flick.

Damn you space. Damn you to hell.

Drifts away.

The white light seems to flicker about as though laughing at Trog's antics and then, with a brilliant flare, vanishes completely.

A babelfish swims through the blackness...

Renrik floats through the void, then comes back, returning from Sigil.

A small ball of light floats through the darkness

... Where is this?

... Mom? Dad? Is anyone here?

... It's dark here... I'm lost...

Demetrius, Fallon fall through into the darkness, with Luthien shortly afterwards...

[Romulus]

Romulus follows them shortly afterwards. His sword is ripped from his grasp, and almost takes an arm off.

"FRICK!"

[Wukei]

Fallon tenses to the soul-ripping power of the void. Antony! she calls out.

[Lykan]

The sounds echo eerily through the void, though walls don't exist... Floors don't exist... The only things that exist on the plane are the people who just came in through the portal

Luthien seems to have not taken any damage, though demetrius seems pretty torn apart... Lacerations line his skin. He groans

[Romulus]

"Where the frick are we?"

[Wukei]

Fallon sees her brother's wounds and her hands glow as she places one on his shoulder.

[Lykan]

Luthien growls

Why the hell are you here? You don't even know what we're here for!

Demetrius groans again, though the majority of the wounds close

Note to self: Make remote activator.

[Romulus]

"I came on my own free will. I don't know what the frick your problem is, but why don't you stuff it?"

[Wukei]

She smiles at her brother, frowning slightly at Luthien. Why are you here? You don't even know Antony.

[Lykan]

Luthien growls, drawing his shakujyou

Oh, I'll stuff it... Which hole do you prefer, back or front?

Demetrius looks around

This place is creepy...

[Romulus]

Romulus floats back a little from Luthein and draws a stick.

[Wukei]

Fallon growls and leaves them all behind, searching.

[Lykan]

Luthien growls and follows Fallon, shakujyou still drawn. Demetrius does as well, looking around

I don't even get how we're moving... The only thing to move away from is eachother...

[Wukei]

I try not to think about it. Just look for Antony.

[Romulus]

Romulus grins as the stick shapeshifts into a greatsword, which he sheathes. He speeds up to catch up to Fallon.

"So, what are we looking for?"

[Wukei]

She glances at Romulus. My brother's soul.

[Lykan]

Demetrius growls

I NEED to think about it. It might help us find hi-...

He pauses

I got it.

[Romulus]

"Ah...I guess that explains your hurry..." Romulus starts looking around.

[Wukei]

She looks over at Demetrius. What?

[Romulus]

Romulus stops and listens.

[Lykan]

Demetrius grins

Well, we must be able to move away from eachother because we are the only things that exist here, so if we can move away, I guess we can also move t- Woah!

He's wisked away

[Wukei]

She raises an eyebrow. Great...now what?

[Romulus]

Romulus draws his greatsword and readies himself.

[Lykan]

Luthien grumbles. Several seconds laterDemetrius wisks back to them

Whee!

[Wukei]

Fallon frowns at him. Care to explain?

[Romulus]

Romulus raises an eyebrow.

[Lykan]

Luthien raises an eyebrow, and Demetrius grins, holding out a small blue orb of light

Got 'im.

[Romulus]

"Well, that's good."

[Wukei]

Fallon sighs, relieved. Good. Now how do we get out of here?

[Lykan]

Demetrius bites his lip

I was gonna figure that out after I tested the portal thingy.

Luthien rests his head in his hands

[Romulus]

"Lovely..."

[Lykan]

Luthien growls

No one asked you to come.

[Wukei]

Fallon scowls at Luthien. But no one denied him coming, either. You, however...

[Romulus]

"So...any ideas?"

[Lykan]

Luthien growls

I wasn't the one complaining.

Demetrius sighs

I dunno... How do we make ourselves exist when we're existing in a place of nonexistance?

[Wukei]

Fallon approaches Luthien. Why don't you get out what's bothering you here and now!

[Romulus]

Romulus backs up a little bit.

[Lykan]

Demetrius frowns, huddled over the soul

Luthien growls

Why is there always SHOCKing complications!?

He looks at everyone with a frustrated look

he gestures to Demetrius

Can't figure out how to get us out of here, and this jackass-

He points to Romulus

is just acting as extra baggage that doesn't shut up! I'm a little ticked!

She growls. Of course I'm upset at you! I've had a crush on you since I was ten and you get mad when I show no emotion at all because I'm scared to!

She gasps and blushes deeply. Stupid paladin's code...

[Romulus]

Romulus' eyes just about bulge out of his head, and he bites his tounge to keep from lashing back out at Luthien.

[Lykan]

Luthien looks stunned, starring at her with his mouth open

... I... Wow...

Demetrius lays a hand on Romulus's shoulder

Do it later. We're outside the space-time continuum, no time for fighting right now.

He floats a bit of the way away, his eyes closed

[Romulus]

"I....I may have a way."

[Wukei]

Fallon frowns and turns away from Luthien, looking to the other two. So...how do we get out of here?

[Lykan]

Demetrius looks at him, curiosly, but Luthien just looks stunned

[Romulus]

Romulus decides not to explain and closes his eyes. A small rip in the void appears and slowly begins to expand outwards. Romulus is obviously taking a toll from attempting this, but it seems to work. On the other side of the rip, the house from the woods can be seen.

"go..."

[Wukei]

She motions for her brother to go, first.

[Lykan]

Demetrius goes though, but Luthien just floats there, stunned

[Wukei]

Fallon pushes him toward the exit.

[Lykan]

Luthien seems to come out of his trance when he touches her, and he floats through the portal

[Wukei]

She goes through the portal after him.

[Romulus]

As Fallon exits, the rip starts to close

[Wukei]

Fallon leaps back in through what was left of the hole.

[Romulus]

"Shouldn't...come....back..."

Romulus passes out. As he does, the portal widens again.

((Sorry, computer's getting taken over. Feel free to dump him where-ever.))

Fallon lifts him without difficulty and returns to the portal, leaping through.
