Oooh, the drama of it all! Everyone has their problems and crises, but some can't seem to get through the day without it. What if our adventurers didn't live in a RPG comic, but a reality TV show? What if you plunked down a soap opera character in the midst of a dragon's den? What if the world was but a stage? Oh woe! Oh alack!

Remember: All artwork must be your own. Do not take, alter, or use any of the The Giant's art. Thanks.

Categories
There will be a First through Third place award for each of the following:

Best Dramatic Avatar (any creation of 120x120 or smaller)
Best Dramatic OotSatar (as above, but OotS based)
Best Drama Queen (any dramatic being or creature larger than an Avatar)
Most Dramatic Scene (anything/scene larger than above)
Best Rookie Entry (only applicable to those who have never entered these competitions before)
And, as always, the Best Overall award.

I'll also voice my opinion on which entry is the most kick-awesome in the form of a VT's Choice Award, which may be anything that tickles my fancy or was shamelessly tailored to my tastes (I approve of shamelessessness).

Rules

1. All entries must be posted by February 28th at Noon, EST.

2. Every entry must include a bolded introduction as to what category you are trying to enter in.

3. Every entry must include an itallic introduction as to what your entry is.

For example:

Next week on Guiding Wight


4. You cannot re-submit an entry previously submitted to an IA competition.

5. Do not use spoilers. It makes the judge's job that much harder, and they may do you harm.

6. Only the avatarist who created the avatar may submit it.

7. Please do not quote images. The entry/name will suffice.

8. Keep entries within PG-13 or better. Adhere to forum rules.

You just had Antigona by elder Tsofu Akrim elf, yes I alway said Akrim elf and never elder tsofu just because that was him who did her current avatar and that would have confuded me somehow and i happened to be slightly sleep deprived when i wrotte this post first, nope sirah, Akrim elf that's what I said from the start, so yes Antigona by Akrim elf up there.

I see no problem with it. It's OOTS-y and Dramatic. The competition's usually pretty loose when it comes to whether something qualifies.

But yeah, remove the spoilers, otherwise the entry might get missed.

It's plenty OoTSy, and absolutely beautiful. However, if I let that on through, then any stressful situation and fight scene will become 'drama'.

It harks back to the War competition where any avatar making a mean face was being submitted as a warrior.

Just opens it to pretty much anything and defeats the purpose of a theme I feel.

It's well drawn, unfortunately though it doesn't really make sense. How does Luke know that is Anakin/Darth, since he doesn't know what his father looked like. Also, Darth's chest-piece changes size in between panels.

Yea, I didn't see the chest-piece thing. But that is actually a video from a game, more specifically Lego Star Wars. In the game the characters couldn't talk, (and basically everyone know what happens at the scene) since the characters can't talk, Darth shows a picture to tell him that he is his father, without talking. And yes I agree, i doesn't make much sense, but its funny!:smalltongue:

Not quite. Zombies do come out, but something else does to. See those green guys? They are creepers. They blow up and are feared by Minecraft players everywhere. Rightly so too.
