Help with a sharingan design

Well, I have been on deviantart a lot recently and seen a lot of people making their own mangekyo sharingan, and well I now want to. The problem is that I can't seem to come up with a design that I really like (nor can I draw, for that matter), and that's where the amazing artists in the playground come in! I did have one idea, but I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with it.

That looks OK, if a bit messy. What's wrong with it?

Nothing's wrong with it (aside from my lack of drawing skills), I just doubt that I'll stick with that for my final design. I also have an artist friend in real life that's helping me, she's been a big help.
