Is anyone else having difficulties accessing the site?

I'm having issues to though... WotC wouldn't shut it down, would they? :smalleek:

Actually, I avoided the RPing forum because this has nothing to do with the system. It's a site.

And if they did, they didn't close other SRDs, near as I can tell. Thankfully, Google has the entire site cached.

It's down (http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/d20srd.org). No clue as to why though.

Well, the REALLY weird thing for me is that I an still, occasionally access pages. =\ Like, I'll click a link on a cached page and it'll load from the site, then click another and down. Try to reclick the old link, down.

It's no surprise that it's down. It's an incredibly heavily used site, and there's no ads (that I've ever seen, I may be blind), so it can't have a very high-end server. Probably just too much use for the moment.

Or I could be completely wrong, I'm not a computer specialist or anything.

Edit: Though it seems to be up for me at the moment, furthering my hypothesis of temporary server strain.

Yeah, it's pretty sporadic access.

Wizards can't shut it down because all the material inside is OGL content. They'd have to undo the OGL license first and I'm not sure they can.

It went down, and I made a thread BECAUSE it never goes down. If dndsrd went down, you'd probably get jumpy too.

If it went down frequently, I'd not have bothered.

Oh, I wasn't quite sure, because I've seen d20srd go down before.

No, d20srd.org does this occasionally. In a given month I'll encounter it maybe... three or four times, personally.
