Particularly, about this (http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2011/02/zelda25.jpg) piece.
At the very bottom of the painting is a woman holding a child. Every single (or almost every according to my knowledge) is in here. Which game would the woman holding a child be in? (I think that the Deku Tree mentioned something about this in Ocarina of Time, but I'm not too sure)

You'd be right. That lady is in reference to Link's origin in OOT.
Also. HOLY **** THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL PICUTRE.

Indeed. I also saw the creation of it via a youtube video, which was both impressive and educational at the same time, especially since he painted it like a real canvas (as in one single layer).

That's also amazing.
OH! One thing. The design of the women in question is also in reference to Twilight Princess's Zelda design, specificly her cloak.

Yeah, I saw that, but since no one has a definite and/or stable representation of the actual timeline, I doubt the connection.

As far as I can tell, this is correct.
And that is, in fact, a beautiful picture. Too bad it's not correctly proportioned, otherwise I would set it as my desktop wallpaper.

Well, yes, I'm not saying that IS the time line, I'm just saying from an artistic standpoint that's probably why he painted that final lady the way he did. Saying this because she's right next to The Heros Shade from TP, and a wolf.
So Zelda's cloak in TP would be more of an inspiration for the never seen Link'sMother character from OOT.
At any rate, I really really like this painting and am saving it to my computer forever.

Another question, is the eyeball of Gohma?
Also repeat what others have said. :smalltongue:

I'm not sure if I've ever seen her in a game, but in the backstory for the very first game, Link is found/saved as a baby by Zelda's caretaker IIRC. Don't quote me on that, it's been a while.

PM me your screen size and I'll make it Wallpaperish.

I thought that too, but then I realized these were all the final bosses for the Legend of Zelda series, so it's actually Bellum methinks.

PM your screensize, I'll try to make the most out of the painting, also, if you want, detail which areas are primarily of your interest.

I also don't recognize the little in green next to the other final bosses. And also the guy opposite Dark Link at the bottom.

The small green guy is the endboss for spirit tracks, and the guy opposite dark link is the furious deity mask form from majora's mask. Forgive me if there are typos, it's early still @-@

Aww, I thought it was the final Nightmare from Link's Awakening. :smallannoyed:
Old school (and brown hair Link) ftw.
I've had this as my background for a while now. Or rather, the shot of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf is.

Holy hell. I don't even want to think about how long that picture took to compose, let alone paint. O_O
Any idea who painted it?

I've actually got 1 last question: who is the married couple near the beginning of the piece?

They look like Anju and Kafei from Majora's Mask.
Edit: Assuming you mean the two I think you are (the woman dressed as a bride, guy with the blue hair).

In the game, Kafei looks like this. (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/I-am-kafei-450x336.jpg)

This art. Holy crap.
Has anyone tagged everyone in it yet? Some of the people I don't recognize, but others I do...
