Welcome to a new iteration of the Draw your Friends game/competition, the game/competition were you draw for a friend.

I'm one of your hosts, araveugnitsuga, you may call me Pink-Haired August.
Our other host, and founder of this game/competition is none other than The Grandmaster of Friendly Administration, Fin.

Info
The Guidelines

The game starts when we reach the 12 volunteers.
You may join by posting your desire to do so in the current thread.
If you participated in the last iteration you must repost in the running thread, posting on a thread that has undergone will not count.
You will be assigned a fellow volunteer to draw for through a PM by your respective host.
You have 7 days (168 hours from the moment a host posts that all PM's have been sent) to draw it.
You may draw in any style you wish.
The idea is to draw something related to your assigned playgrounder.
Any format is welcomed, from avatar to a giant watercolor image.
When you are finished you PM it to your assigned host.
Don't post the image here.

Extensions are permissible if you PM a host asking for it and a reasonable extended time-frame.
We'd much rather have an extension than late turn ins.


Themes
They are announced in the thread after the start of the competition.
They are sent again through a PM along with your assignment.
They are selected by both of your hosts, but suggestions are accepted.
They are entirely optional

The Workings

There are two phases.
On the "First Phase" you are assigned a fellow volunteer to draw.
The second phase is entirely optional.
On the "Second Phase" a host reveals all the images.
You may guess on who draw it and by whom it was drawn.
After two days such information will be revealed.


The Wishlist

You can only enter The Wishlist if you didn't participate in the previous round and the contest already has started.
If you enter the Wishlist you are automatically included on the next round.

Right, please allow me to apologise. I (as some of you may have noticed) haven't been around much lately. As araveugnitsuga correctly pointed out in thread 7...
Fin wasn't able to host this rounds, my suspicion is that it is related to his previously mentioned RL issues. I'll keep running DYF though, and as soon as he pops back up, things will go back to normal.
I have indeed been held away by real life issues concerning a fairly serious illness to someone close to me. Alas this is not a post declaring my triumphant return but merely a nod to all those still involved to Bravo on all the support this has had since I have been gone. It is my first chance to really do so, life has been a bit crazy!
I do intend to return to the boards full-time eventually but for the time-being I will have to relegate myself to an observers role until I can free up more time.

It looks exactly like what you usually do by the way, OoTSesque non OoTS. Also, you have a tendency toward persons and colourful backgrounds.

Whoops, that was a mistake early on, I put my working window at 100x100, cause I've been working with a lot of X00's by X00's. I'll try to resize it now.

I did nothing of that sort, just now have I realised. The random list generator is not that good, I promise I will try to have it happen less often in further rounds.

It was mainly luck, actually... :smallredface: I almost put Germany, but I wanted to have about two flags per continent (so the whole world would be covered), and I had already done France and Italy for Europe. :smalltongue:
