I have never played Rogue Trader. Never opened a rulebook of it, nor looked at a PbP game recruiting for it.

It's becuase of the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" that aired a while back. It closely resembles the cartoons from the 90s and had alot of jokes that weren't always from kids, etc. It quickly attracted an adult male audience, known as Bronies (bros+ponies).
