Chronicle - A Superhero "Documentary"?

Fake documentary a la Cloverfield or the Blair Witch Project, except involving teenagers who make a discovery and afterwards find that they have superpowers like telekinesis. Have to admit it looks kinda cool and I'm always up for Hollywood trying out fresh and original plotlines instead of remakes or adaptions only.

What do you guys think?

I don't think this is intended to be horror so much as a superhero film. As for the "found footage" genre as a whole, it is just another medium through which the story can be told. If the story is good, who cares?

I liked the "found" documentary Troll Hunter, it is subbed because it isn't english (Norwegian) but really good.
Not a bad ending.
