So, I just went and saw #3 last night, and once I got to thinking about it last night, I realized there may be a couple of plot holes that have developed with information clashing between movies.

Huge #3 spoilers!!!!
Her parents are killed at the end! She NEVER mentions that in 1 or 2. You'd think she'd mention how her parents were killed by this demon that they're trying to film. Also, she says that it started when she was 8 (fine) but that the demon mainly followed her. We saw in #3 that it (Toby) mostly dealt wit her younger sister. Also, the whole thing she mentions in the first movie about how there was a fire.... where was that? Unless they're doing a 4th movie and it happens there, they just sort of left that out.

I just thought I'd see if anybody else noticed clashing plot points between the movies. Also, just a general discussion thread about the movies, I guess, if people want.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Watching the first one when I typed this, and I just got to the part where she finds the burnt picture in the attic. Know who she calls afterwards?

HER FATHER! Did she and her sister get adopted and forget it somehow, or is this just a huge plot hole?

You know, I clicked on that link and somehow my brain registered the subtitle as "Tokyo Drift" which was confusing but now just gives me an awesome crossover idea

I saw the first one for Halloween.
It was all right, it was nice to see an attempt at scary while showing extremely little, but it still didn't work for me exactly.
Barely above porn grade actors didn't help much, but the worst bit was dissonance between the starkly artificial storytelling devices and the attempts at making it feel like it was supposed to be amateur documentation.

Maybe the awesomely-powerful-but-never-seen demonology guy they refered to actually IS one of the Ghostbusters.

Unless he showed up in the third one, I've only seen #2
