Previously covered in a thread titled "Erfworld: Battle for Wesnoth", I would like to announce that plans for a game set in the Erfworld universe have been laid.
The Battle for Erfworld, http://battleforerfworld.net-fu.org (http://battleforerfworld.net-fu.org/), will be a comprehensive and carefully planned and executed campaign using an open source turn-based strategy game platform called Battle for Wesnoth (http://www.wesnoth.org/). At this time it is undecided if The Battle for Erfworld will be retelling the tale of "The Battle for Gobwin Knob" or if it will instead just be set in the Erfworld universe, but in either case you should expect to find the same zany units, a (hopefully) similar style of comedy, and a branching and detailed plotline.
I am already gathering requests to join the development team, so if you'd like to join in, we've got space and we've got need! Visit the forums (http://battleforerfworld.net-fu.org/forum/) to sign up. We need all kinds of people: writers, scripters, artists, mapmakers, unit builders, PR people, sound artists, composers, you name it.
Thank you!
