Lillah's House II

[McBish]

This small house is situated about halfway between Trog’s and The Den. From the outside you can see a belfry and 2 chimneys sticking out of the roof. As you come inside there is a small closet to your right and the living room to your left. The living room has nice shiny hardwood floors. There is a futon (huray OmniShop) and some chairs. There is a fireplace in the corner. Beyond that there is the dining room and the kitchen. The floors are stone. In the dining room there is a large oak table that could sit about 12 people. In the kitchen there is a large fire place almost five feet wide and four feet tall. The kitchen is a mess, there are jars of things all over the place and you have no idea how anyone could find anything in here. Past the kitchen is a small room that seems to be a bedroom. Off of the bedroom there is a bathroom. There is a stair case leading upstairs. Upstairs is split into two rooms, the master bedroom and an empty room, which Lillah has decided to turn into her practice room. There is a stool sitting in the corner, and several holes from daggers in one wall. The master bedroom has a large bed in the middle of the room and a spiral staircase leading up. This staircase leads to a large belfry. This belfry has large glass windows all around it and offers a view of the ocean and the town (not a very good view but a view none the less.) On the floor of the belfry there are several large cushions much like those in Hank’s

Ok then lets go.

[Kyrian]

How does my lovely fiance want to travel today?

[McBish]

Quick way.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles and they vanish.

[Kyrian]

Lillah enters the house, and gets a fire started. She sits on the couch and waits for Kyrian to return.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters and finds Lillah asleep on the couch. He puts out the fire, and gently carries her upstairs. He lays her down on the bed, and lies down beside her.

[McBish]

Lillah wakes up and slips out of bed. She gives the sleeping Kyrian a kiss and heads out the door towards Trog's, she calls pumpkinhead to come with her.

A bit later they come back. Pumpkinhead sits by the door while Lillah prepares a christmas dinner, which Kyrian and her will eat even if their players aren't online.

[Kyrian]

After dinner, Kyrian and Lillah sit in front of the fire and hold each other in their arms.

[hr]
Lillah, I've got some good news, but you have to come with me.

Ok...?

Trust me.

I do.

They both get ready and head outside.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian and Lillah appear upstairs. Slowly, they get ready for bed, and both crawl under the sheets. There is some discussion over what happened just recently, and soon, they are asleep, Lillah held close in Kyrian's arms.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian wakes up and kisses Lillah on the cheek.

I'll be back later, my love.

She smiles as he gets up and dressed. He vanishes.

[McBish]

Lillah puts away her daggers after practicing for some time and throws on her coat and boots and heads out the door heading towatds Trog's.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears inside and heads upstairs. He goes into Lillah's practice room, and summons a punching bag, which he begins to start in on punching.

[hr]
Tears flow from Kyrian's eyes as he keeps punching the bag. He growls and the ferocity of his punches increases.

[hr]
Kyrian makes the punching bag vanish before he too vanishes.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian and Lillah appear in the bedroom, and Kyrian turns to the door, opening it.

[McBish]

Lillah finds the bed and crawls into it. She curls into a ball facing away from Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Lillah? Kyrian slowly walks over to her side of the bed and faces her.

[McBish]

I'm sorry Kyrian. I just...

[Kyrian]

Just what, dear?

[McBish]

I need to be alone. Please.

[Kyrian]

I love you....and that's never going to change. I'll be on the couch...unless you'd rather I go to Trog's.

[McBish]

Could you... go to Trog's.

[Kyrian]

Ok...I'm sorry...

Kyrian walks over to the door.

[McBish]

Lillah lays there tears silently flowing out of her eyes. She doesn't make any move to stop him, or even show that she knows he is there.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a sad sigh and goes downstairs, and out the door.

[McBish]

Lillah lays in bed for the night, not sleeping and trying not to remember.

Jesion sneaks down and lies down on the floor next to the bed.

[McBish]

Lillah continues to lie in bed not sleeping.

[wxdruid]

Jesion peeks over the edge at Lillah and makes a small noise.

[McBish]

It's ok Jesion, it will be... Lillah can't finish the sentence not really beliving it.

[wxdruid]

Jesion creeps up next to her on the bed and licks her cheek

[McBish]

Lillah turns her back to Jesion.

[wxdruid]

Jesion stretches out next to Lillah, just being next her, not saying anything.

[McBish]

Jesion can feel the wet spot where Lillah's tears fell during the night. Lillah doesn't move.

[wxdruid]

Jesion gets comfortable for the wait, she starts kneading the covers with her front paws and purring.

((She'll just stay there until Lillah is ready to do whatever))

[McBish]

After a while Lillah gets up and wraps Kyrian's coat tightly around her. She heads downstairs and into the kitchen she thinks for a minute about something.

Jesion pads down after her, not interfering and giving her the distance she wants or needs.

[McBish]

Lillah opens up one of the cupboards and pulls out a bottle of DLB, she finds a glass and goes and sits by the fire and pours herself a drink.

[wxdruid]

Jesion lies down near her, making just enough sound so Lillah knows where she is.

[McBish]

Lillah seems to be oblivious to Jesion and pours her self a large drink. Which she quickly drinks. Then she pours another drink.

[wxdruid]

Jesion just watches her

[McBish]

Lillah continues working on finishing off the bottle, taking her time.

[wxdruid]

Jesion creeps up next to her

[McBish]

Lillah doesn't seem to notice Jesion creeping up to her. She is about a quarter of the way through the bottle.

[wxdruid]

Jesion slowly leans into Lillah, ready to move if necessary, not knowing how Lillah will react or if she'll react.

[McBish]

Lillah gives a start as you lean into her. She pulls away and starts to pour another drink her hand shaking.

[wxdruid]

Jesion purrs reassuringly and tries again, slowly leaning against Lillah.

[McBish]

Lillah jumps a bit again but doesn't pull away. She downs the drink and sets the glass and bottle down.

[wxdruid]

Jesion continues to purr as she lightly leans against Lillah, letting her feel her presence.

[McBish]

Lillah reachs down and hugs Jesion burying her face in Jesion's fur.

[wxdruid]

Jesion lets her as she continues to purr. She patiently waits.

[McBish]

Lillah sobs as she embraces Jesion.

[wxdruid]

Jesion continues to purr in a reassuring manner, letting Lillah cry as much as she wants.

[McBish]

Lillah cries till she runs out of energy. She curls up on the couch. Thank you.

[wxdruid]

Jesion puts her head up next to Lillah, where she can easily reach her, Anytime, anytime....

[McBish]

Lillah doesn't reach out to her but closes her eyes instead. You can tell she isn't asleep though.

[wxdruid]

Jesion purrs and gets comfortable, leaving her head in the same spot.

[McBish]

Lillah continues to lay there while I go eat.

[wxdruid]

Lillah sits up and heads upstairs to get dressed.

Jesion waits downstairs by the couch.

[McBish]

Lillah comes back downstairs all bundled up. Jesion I'm going to Inari's.

Do you want company?

[McBish]

I... yes please. She heads to the door and opens it.

[wxdruid]

Jesion follows her and goes through the open door.

[McBish]

Lillah steps outside after her.

Both Lillah and Jesion come back inside. Lillah heads upstairs and climbs back into bed. Jesion climbs into bed with her laying next to her.

Jesion lies next to Lillah and purrs as she sleeps.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian steps up to the front door, after having argued this decision over and over in his head, and lightly knocks.

[McBish]

Lillah lays in bed, not having slept at all. She hears the knock and after a second climbs out of bed and goes downstairs. She puts her hand on the doorknob and pauses, not sure if she wants to open it or not.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sighs, and turns his back to the door, looking around the streets.

[McBish]

Lillah opens the door slightly, Hello?

[Kyrian]

Kyrian turns back around.

I'm sorry...I shouldn't have come...I was just hoping we could talk?

[McBish]

I... no it is fine. Come in. She opens the door to let him in and walks over to the couch and sits down.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian slowly walks in and sits down on the other end of the couch.

How are you doing?

[McBish]

I've been better. She finds the bottle of DLB she left on the couch and her glass and pours herself a drink.

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry...

[McBish]

Lillah doesn't say anything she just takes a drink.

[Kyrian]

I don't know all of what happened...I just know...I should have been there sooner...

[McBish]

I knew you would come, but when it took you so long...

[Kyrian]

Lillah...I'm so sorry...

[McBish]

Lillah doesn't say anything. Instead she just takes a long drink from her glass.

[Kyrian]

What's wrong...?

[McBish]

Lillah pours herself some more and takes another drink as she tries to collect her thoughts.

[Kyrian]

Please talk to me....I don't want to lose you...

[McBish]

I... I don't know what say.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...I....I love you so much...I just wish I knew how to help you through this...

[McBish]

I know you do... It's why I'm still here. And I want you here because I need you, but when you are here, and when you... when anyone touches me I can't think of anything but him.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...you know I'd gladly stay down here, on the couch, if you wanted me to. I want to help you...more than anything...

[McBish]

I don't know how you can help. I don't know if anyone can help. She takes a long drink, and starts to pour another one. Do you know what the worst part of being blind is.

[Kyrian]

[McBish]

I can't open my eyes to make the visions of what he did to me go away.

[Kyrian]

What if...what if I do what we've talked about...now?

[McBish]

I... I don't know. You saw what I did to that... that thing. If I have that kind of power...

[Kyrian]

Lillah...I know in my heart, that you wouldn't abuse this power.

[McBish]

Kyrian... I just don't know if it will help.

[Kyrian]

Tears slowly fall from Kyrian's eyes. I...I can't....

[McBish]

Lillah moves to embrace Kyrian, then pulls back.

[Kyrian]

I don't want to lose you...and I wish more than anything to be able to hold you in my arms and tell you it'll be ok...

[McBish]

I can't... I'm sorry but I can't.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...you don't need to apologize...it's not your fault, and I understand. I love you...

[McBish]

Lillah turns her head and starts to pour herself another drink.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a sad sigh, assuming the worst with Lillah's actions.

[McBish]

He killed me. He killed me and I came back when he called me back. Do you know why?

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry...I don't...

[McBish]

I came back because I didn't want to lose you.

[Kyrian]

You'll never lose me....I'm always going to be here for you.

[McBish]

Lillah turns away from him and takes a drink.

[Kyrian]

Lillah... Kyrian sighs.

[McBish]

I just need time. Please.

[Kyrian]

Ok...just...please....I need you Lillah. You mean so much to me, and I don't want to lose that...

Kyrian stands.

[McBish]

I just need time. Time to forget. She holds the bottle in one hand the glass in the other.

[Kyrian]

I love you Lillah.

Kyrian reaches out to touch her shoulder, but pulls back and turns, walking over and opening the door.

[McBish]

Lillah doesn't even turn to watch him go. She takes a drink from her glass.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian leaves, shutting the door behind him.

[McBish]

Through the night Lillah finishes of the bottle then just lays on the couch. Ignoring the cold as the fire slowly burns out.

Jesion comes downstairs to check on Lillah, she puts a cold nose on her hand.

[McBish]

Lillah's hand is slightly warmer than ussual.

[wxdruid]

Jesion lays her head on the couch next to Lillah and watches her with mournful eyes.

[McBish]

Hi Jesion. Lillah voice gives away how tired she is.

[wxdruid]

Hello Lillah, can I come up next to you?

[McBish]

I guess. Lillah scoots over allowing Jesion to get up.

[wxdruid]

Jesion lies down next to Lillah, getting comfortable next to her. She starts to purr.

[McBish]

Lillah lies there and wraps her arms around Jesion, she feels feverish.

[wxdruid]

Lillah, do you need anything? You feel hot.

[McBish]

I'm fine. She wraps her arms around Jesion.

[wxdruid]

Jesion licks Lillah and purrs, mentally considering whether she should call for her mother.

[McBish]

Lillah just lays there not saying anything.

[wxdruid]

Jesion eventually decides she'll just keep an eye on Lillah's health for now as she continues to purr and keep Lillah company.

[McBish]

If your hungry there is some bamhacon in the kitchen.

[wxdruid]

No, not yet, you're comfortable to lie next to and I don't want to get up yet.

[McBish]

Ok then. Lillah holds onto Jesion letting her warm her up.

[wxdruid]

Jesion purrs and slowly dozes off

[McBish]

Lillah lays there not sleeping yet again. ((Got to go.))

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears outside, with a box in his arms. He sets the box down, laying a letter for Jesion on top of it. He quietly knocks on the door.

Jesion looks up. I could get it?

[McBish]

I guess. She opens her eyes from her non-sleep.

[Kyrian]

Jesion shadow jumps outside at the same time Kyrian vanishes. She shadow jumps back inside with the box and letter.

It's a box...and there's a letter to me.

[McBish]

Um... do you need me to open it for you?

[Kyrian]

Yes please. Jesion purrs.

[McBish]

Lillah opens the letter and holds it so Jesion can read it.

[Kyrian]

Jesion reads the letter, and purrs again.

It's a late Christmas gift. To you.

[McBish]

Oh... from Kyrian? She opens up the package and looks inside.

[Kyrian]

Oooh, they look lovely.

Inside are five decorated, and ornate looking daggers. Jesion describes them to Lillah. (you can decide how they look)

[McBish]

Lillah runs her hands over the daggers. ((I'll figure out what they look like later.)) She sighs and closes the box.

[Kyrian]

What's wrong?

[McBish]

Nothing, it's just what I wanted.

[Kyrian]

Then why do you seem so sad?

[McBish]

I don't know. I really don't.

[Kyrian]

He also said that he wishes he could have given them to you in person, but wants to respect your wishes.

[McBish]

I... I don't know. She flops down on the couch.

[Kyrian]

Jesion sets her head on the couch, near Lillah.

He understands...

[McBish]

Well that makes one of us.

[Kyrian]

Do you want to talk?

[McBish]

I don't know what to say.

[Kyrian]

Well...do you still like Kyrian?

[McBish]

I do, but I can't... when I'm around him I don't think about him, I just remember... that.

[Kyrian]

Is there anything we can do to stop that?

[McBish]

I don't know. I hope...

[Kyrian]

Well, he's going to do whatever you tell him. And if you want, I'll tell him for you.

[McBish]

I don't know what I want him to do. I want him here to make me feel better, but when he is here I hurt more. She sighs.

[Kyrian]

Jesion slowly and gently nudges Lillah's hand.

[McBish]

Lillah starts to pet Jesion without thinking about it.

[Kyrian]

Jesion purrs.

[McBish]

I'm glad your here Jesion.

[Kyrian]

I'm glad to be here...please try to get some sleep. And take your mind off of things.

[McBish]

I don't know if I can take my mind off of... things. And if I sleep I know I'm going to dream, and I don't want to, I know what they will be.

[Kyrian]

Well, what makes you happy?

[McBish]

Really, I'm not sure right now. She sighs and lays down.

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry...

[McBish]

[Kyrian]

Jesion curls up close to Lillah.

[McBish]

Lillah wraps her arms around Jesion. She still feels slightly feverish.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...you feel feverish...someone should take a look at you...

[McBish]

I'm fine, I think I just need to sleep a bit.

[Kyrian]

I don't want you to get sick....please let someone look...

[McBish]

I'll be fine.
((Jesion would also know that Lillah hasn't eaten since she came back.))

[Kyrian]

You should at least eat something.

[McBish]

I... maybe.

[Kyrian]

[McBish]

I, guess. She slowly stands up and walks into the kitchen and sighs trying to think of what she should eat.

[Kyrian]

Jesion follows.

[McBish]

Lillah finds some bread and slices some meat making a sandwich. She takes a bite and turns to Jesion, Better?

[Kyrian]

Jesion purrs. I still think you need someone who'll take care of you.

[McBish]

I'll be fine. I just need to sleep.

[Kyrian]

From up on top of the belfry, a song (http://youtube.com/watch?v=pm2O6AKyYVA) can be heard through out the house.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles slightly as she hears the song. She sets her sandwich down and heads upstairs to the belfry.

[Kyrian]

The song of course gets slightly louder as she gets closer. The belfry is empty, the song coming from a source on top of the belfry.

[McBish]

Lillah opens up one of the windows and leans out slightly. Kyrian?

[Kyrian]

The music ends and Kyrian looks down at Lillah.

Yes?

[McBish]

I... want to come in. It must be cold out there.

[Kyrian]

It's a little cold...but I don't want to intrude on you...

[McBish]

No come in... it's ok. She opens the window enough so Kyrian can come in.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian slowly climbs in.

How are you doing?

[McBish]

I'm... I don't know.

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry...I shouldn't really be here...you asked me for time...

[McBish]

No, it is fine. I... I don't know what I want.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...I can't help tell you what you want. Only you can do that.

[McBish]

I've been trying. I don't know. Part of me wants you here, but whenever you come near, I pull back. I can't help it.

[Kyrian]

What does your heart tell you...?

[McBish]

It feels... It feels like my heart died. I'm sorry Kyrian, I just don't know.

[Kyrian]

I guess that explains some things...

[McBish]

Kyrian, I... I think... I know I still love you. But right now, I just can't be with you. I wish I could, but... She steps back from him.

[Kyrian]

I have a couple more songs...if you have time to listen...

[McBish]

I... ok. She sits down on one of the cushions and listens to the songs. Eventually she will fall to sleep. ((I have to go to sleep, see ya.))

Kyrian begins to strum his guitar, and plays this song (http://youtube.com/watch?v=RZ45xrtNnzk) first. He notices Lillah about to fall asleep, so to finish, he slowly begins to play a song that she wrote, about two lovers. Warmth slowly tries to fill the room, but Kyrian isn't as talented with the song as Lillah is, so it's not nearly as warm as if she were playing it.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian wakes up, having fallen asleep in the belfry at some point.

[McBish]

((Yay scrubs.))

Lillah tosses and turns in her sleep.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian tries again to play Lillah's song. The warmth is stronger this time, as is Kyrian's playing, but it still doesn't match Lillah's.

[McBish]

Lillah stops tossing in her sleep as much, but still seems slightly disturbed in her sleep.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian keeps playing the song over and over, getting better each time. He knows he can't touch her, but he hopes that the warmth that keeps increasing as he gets better will help.

[McBish]

Lillah slowly stops turning in her sleep.

[Kyrian]

Lillah?

Kyrian keeps playing, soon his playing comes pretty close to Lillah's.

[McBish]

Lillah wakes up and wraps her arms around herself, she is obviously shaken by something. She is also distracted as she doesn't notice Kyrian playing.

[Kyrian]

What's wrong?

[McBish]

Kyrian, it's just dreams. They're just dreams. They're just dreams.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian keeps playing but looks at Lillah with concern.

You're awake now, and I'm here.

Me too.

Jesion climbs up to the belfry and sits down near Lillah.

[McBish]

Lillah turns and hugs Jesion, not saying anything.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian keeps playing the song, as if he were an iPod or CD player stuck on repeat.

[McBish]

Kyrian... Lillah bites her lip, and buries her face in Jesion's fur.

[Kyrian]

Yes Lillah?

[McBish]

Thank you for being here.

[Kyrian]

Well I figured...you haven't thrown me out yet, so why not?

Kyrian gives a small laugh. He then turns serious.

Your welcome Lillah. I can't allow myself to just let you deal with this alone.

[McBish]

Lillah just holds onto Jesion. She still feels slightly feverish.

[Kyrian]

Lillah...you still feel feverish.

What?

[McBish]

I'm fine, or I will be. I hope.

[Kyrian]

Lillah, are you sick?

[McBish]

No... maybe just a little. I'll be fine.

[Kyrian]

Lillah... Kyrian sighs.

Jesion licks Lillah's cheek, Do you mind if I call Rain?

[McBish]

It's ok Kyrian. She hides her face in Jesion's fur so he can't see her tears. I'll be ok. Really.

Jesion patiently lets her cry as she purrs.

[Kyrian]

Please tell me what's on your mind Lillah.

[McBish]

It's my dreams Kyrian. They are horrible.

[Kyrian]

Do you want me to try and take them away?

[McBish]

I... no I can't ignore the problem, I need to face it.

[Kyrian]

You're not alone Lillah. You've got a whole family here to help you.

[McBish]

I don't deserve him. Lillah thinks and just sits there with her arms wraped around Jesion.

[Kyrian]

Please let us help. Alarra and Jaspero would love to see you again.

[McBish]

I guess. I can't stay here forever. She slowly stands up.

Jesion nudges her carefully

[Kyrian]

Kyrian stands and starts to reach for her hand, but stops and pulls back.

[McBish]

Lillah places a hand on Jesion's head and forces a smile.

[wxdruid]

Will you eat the rest of your sandwich before you go anywhere? for me?

[McBish]

Ok, I guess I forgot about that. She heads downstairs to get the sandwich and starts to eat it.

[wxdruid]

Jesion follows her and smiles.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian wipes several tears from his eyes, and slowly heads downstairs.

[McBish]

Lillah finishes the sandwich and sets the plate in the sink.

[wxdruid]

Jesion brushes her body up against Lillah's and purrs.

[McBish]

Lillah rests her hand on Jesion. So where to?

[Kyrian]

Where ever you want...

[McBish]

I don't know anywhere is fine.

[Kyrian]

Where do you want to go, Jesion?
