So... looking mostly at Erfworld 15, I pose the question: That Parson creature, is it male or female?
I guess it's the living embodiment of a male cliche, but it honestly looks female to me, as far as I can tell through the fat. Also, the clean shave seems out of character for a male of the stereotype. I admit to having avoided looking to closely, and the -son in Parson seems to indicate male, too, just as the "dude".
Does the hamstard-site have any conclusively proof towards either direction?

I think it cites him as a male somewhere. His title there is "Lord Hamster," which would indicate that he is male since lord is a male title.

If you didn't recoil in terror at the man-boobs, you need to get your eyes checked.

Yeah. Gotti is definitely in the Male, Chubby(Manboob type) file.

I would just like to say that he is definately male, with a pair of noble, dignified moobs (man-boobs).

Oh well, speculating a while longer might have been interesting. To be fair, I've been poring over Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells for the past few days and Glasya, "Lord" of the Sixth, is indeed female. Also, note that in his diatribe about how much his life sucks he doesn't once mention the lack of a girlfriend.
But thanks for clarifying, Jamie!

It's probably such a remote possibility to his mind that he doesn't even consider it, anymore than you'd say your life sucks because you don't have a summer home in Venice or a garage full of Bentleys....

Yes, yes, he is definitely male. Besides the fact that everyone refers to him as male, I have never seen a pair of breasts like that on an overweight woman. Maybe it exists, but still...
...
MOOBS...

Parson is a dude. "It's Pat" he's not.
Parson reminds me of Frank, the DM from Aaron Williams' Full Frontal Nerdity.

how could you not tell?
sorry to interrupt this ;) but that one friend in 1:16 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0016.html) says "dibs on his dice"...think that kind of clears things up :P

Fat men and fat women distribute fat differently enough that it's clear that Parson is male, aside from all the references to him being male. On a side note, I'm surprised Parson doesn't have a bit of stubble or 5 o'clock shadow by now, as there is no mention about shaving in the comic yet (maybe that's another thing that's automatically taken care of at the beginning of the turn).

Or read this post (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2352848&postcount=24) (start at the fifth paragraph) in this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39797) for my other thoughts on this topic....
