Now that you have my attention, I went back and reread the comics, and wow, Jillian totally mentioned Inferi in her little report.
Take that, OotS #253!
"infantry", domadoma... "infantry". They've been called "croaked infantry" before in the comic :smallwink:

Even if "inf." did stand for Inferi, it would just be back to the bad latin, not necessarily Harry Potter.
But yeah, Infantry makes much more sense...

Also, inferi are basically zombies, not skeletons.

No, she meant infantry. Uncroaked infantry, to be specific.
