Yes, people in the playground, I am attempting a Macbeth comic strip in modern english.

It's on paper, but I'll scan it into my computer when I've finished the whole comic.

I've just finished the scene where Macbeth is promoted to Cawdor and I'm about to draw the scene where Lady Macbeth reads out Macbeth's letter.

Good idea/bad idea? Comments? Suggestions?

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum.

I think this goes into arts and crafts?

"any application of the visual arts and creative writing"

Whoopsie, I'll repost there.

Certainly something interesting. I've seen manga versions of Macbeth before but they kept the original text (Really, really, bad idea if you convert it to a modern setting, but it seems to be the usual).

Don't, just ask a mod to move it. At least I think that's better.....

This is totally whack. Which, of course, means that it will be awesome.

I was considering doing either KHV or Much Ado About Nothing in OOTS Style. I definitely like the idea of Shakespeare in an easier to read format, whether you use the OOTS characters as the actors or not. Anyways, I'd definitely read it.

Heh, funny. Shadow Addict and I recently did OOTSified interpretations of Macbeth as a project for school. We also watched a REALLY weird cyberpunk Macbeth movie.

That was a lot of fun.

I look forward to reading this.

(Never watch cyberpunk Macbeth interpretations.)
