Any of you who have those friends who will listen to funny songs or stuff they like and then sing it forever and ever and ever and ever etc afterwards?
I have, and I've decided to make it my mission to teach him some of the most annoying yet intoxicating songs out there so that any point I can sing one line and begin an attack upon the senses best described as being mustard gassed with a twelve ton nuke while a sausage dog widdles up your leg.
For example, I've started with this. (http://home.comcast.net/~hiomrsan/pirate.swf)

Anyone have anything like this?
(Note: Weebl's Stuff has already been learned)

"I know a song that will get on your nerves,
get on your nerves,
get on your nerves,
get on your nerves,
I know a song that will get on your nerves,
and this is how it gooo-ooo-ooes...."

Repeat. Often. Listen. Learn. Regurgitate endlessly. :smallsigh:

The hamster dance song?

"You are an idiot" (the hypered up dance version) could also work.

Hey, that's the Portal song. I love that song! It's not really annoying.

I get songs stuck in my head really easily, so if I hear an annoying song I'll be humming/whisting/singing it until something replaces it.

Mind you, someone in my year at school knows all the words to the Woody Woodpecker theme.

You don`t get it.

To stuck in a head, a song mustn`t be outright repulsive - in that case, you`d just turn it off and forget about it.

No, it should work it`s way slowly into your mind and stay there forever...

I respectfully disagree to the first statement and sadly have to agree with the second one. We are only four million people in Norway, statistically we should have been spared from having one singer as gods-awfull as Lene Nystrøm. It's not fair.
And now, more music from Norway:

I was successfully immunized against it by listening to the Aquabats' parody. I always think of their lyrics whenever I hear the tune.

If it's not quite a repetitive or irritating song, at least you won't be able to get it out of your head.

I was successfully immunized against it by listening to the Aquabats' parody. I always think of their lyrics whenever I hear the tune.Alas, I don't know that one and I had to struggle through 1997 without any form of immunization. I made it, however, and I don't think I will bother aquiring me any ten years later. It feel a blit like getting a vaccination for the bubonic plague.

I prefere the full rendition of Leva's polka..as in here Completely agree, but it is more appealing and not as mind-numbingly sanity wrecking as the looped anime-girl version.

anyway, I can't believe that nobody has mentioned the Soluble Song, yet, so allow me to raise the stakesI'm not a big fan of rathergood.com (or kittens). The only song that ever managed to fascinate me on that site was this one: http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/

It was a German band (Dschinghis Khan is how Genghis Khan is written in German), the text is hilarious, even if it doesn't make any more sense if you understand German.

Though I prefer the song they played at the Eurovision Song Contest, Dschinghis Khan. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=W_esCf2GSTI)

Not a bad song, but has been stuck in my head for about 6 months now:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcOZ6xFxJqg

A friend of mine sucessfully managed to lodge this one in my head by playing it for a week straight. This included attaching headphones to my ears with it playing whilst I slept(he was very dedicated to his cause):

Believe me this is not the kind of song you want to mumbling to day and night, people thought I was some drug obsessed hippie. (which is only half true :smalltongue:)

The Annoying Song:

Oh, my word, this tune is annoying,
Yes, I know, it's really annoying.
I can't get this song out of my head.

Make it stop, this tune is annoying,
I've gotta go to work in the morning.
Now I'm gonna be humming it in my bed
(loop)

The Badger Song:

A-badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger
Mushroom, mushroom,
A-badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger
Mushroom, mushroom,
A-badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger
AHHHH, it's a snake, it's a snake, it's a snake
*repeats*

or 'Trekkies", I think it's called:
Theeeerrre's Klingons on the starboard bow, starboard bow, starboard bow.
There's Klingons on the starboard bow, starboard bow, Jim.

Star Trekkin'
Across the universe
On the starship enterprise,
Under Captain Kirke
Star Trekkin'
Across the universe
Only goin' forward
'Coz we can't find reverse.

etc etc I don't know all the verses.
Hope that helps.:smalltongue:

BTW, anyone else discovered that songs NOT in your mother language tend to stuck far less? No, not really. Both English and German tends to stick fairly easily. In some rare cases a few lines of French, Russian, Turkish and Arabic has lodged themselves in my brain, which is a bit frustrating as I don't speak any of those languages. It does not happen often, though. And when it does, it is seldom as annoying as with Norwegian and English songs.
