Satan and Jesus had a boxing match to serve as the battle of Armageddon, and Satan was winning handily. However, he had bet on Jesus to collect on the massive odds in his own favor, and took a dive.

I don't feel comfortable expressing my views on exactly how this fight would go on this heavily censored board, but I know who'd win, and that's good enough for me.

Because everyone will be horribly offended, obviously. Really, it is against the board rules to discuss religion, but the connection to religion here is rather tenuous.

And I'm just saying that Sauron is comparable. Really, it's Morgoth that's an obvious analogue to John Milton's version of Satan, but Sauron basically took over Morgoth's task as Ultimate Evil after the latter was banished.
