View Full Version : How many ninjas would lose to a SM
So, we all know that one ninja, fighting alone is death incarnate. However, Conservation of Ninjutsu says that the more ninjas are working together, the weaker they are as a whole.
My question is, what is the minimum number of ninjas that a Space Marine could beat.

My guess is 3-4 - the point where ninjas start being mooks. Space Marines are glorified mooks themselves and therefore a single one will not win to a single important character.

tengu got it about right, unless we're talking about orange jumpsuit wearing ninjas.
this begs the question, how many space marines could a single ninja kill?

Depends.
Is the ninja a doctor, dressed as a bat, or revived from the dead by an eagle?
If so, n+1, where N is the number of space marines there are to kill.

Protagonist Ninja are immune to the property of inverse Ninja. A Space Marine couldn't beat even one of those.
Mook Ninja though, might be able to take two.

Of course this gets interesting if we start to give the marines names, after all the inverse ninja law (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ConservationOfNinjitsu?from=Main.InverseNinjaLaw) applies to all elite mooks, to varying degrees. As such a single named sergeant or veteran sergeant blows this thing wide open, often literally.
