Today's theme is pirates. *Any kind at all! (Including the internet kind.)

You may also have characters from OotS cosplay (dress up) as pirates.

And of course, there is going to be a First through Third place of the following:

Best miscellaneous pirate
Best OotS character dressed as a pirate
Best OotS group picture as pirates
and, of course, Best Overall

And don't forget the Wukei's Choice Award to the avatarist's creation that most appeals to your host.

Every entry must include a bolded introduction as to what category you are trying to enter in.

However, you may submit old creations. *It does not have to be something made specifically for this thread.

Before we started IA up I asked four definites if they wanted to be on the panel. They said yes. We also have one guest judge that is an artist himself. Now, Sneak may want off the panel every once and a while to be in competition himself. But he rarely does avatars anymore.

Miscellaneous just sorta covers everything. I basically wanted the contest to be OotS or non-OotS for the simplicity. I really took it out of my judges with the last contest having 7 categories.

I don't know if we'll have any OotS group entries...but it'd be nice.

Technically, 0 at thhe moment...though I believe Ink's counts as OotS group as there is more than 1 character in it.

I decided to enter because there's not much competition. But the competition already is very good.

Oh, and Elan is tied up in the brig at Captain Roy's orders. Who knew he didn't like hearing "A Pirate's Life for Me" 56 times in a row.

And V, of course, has his faithful parrot familiar, Redwing.

Per Scurvy-Ridden Elf's suggestion I've modified the Miko/Belkar picture and added Windstriker as a pirate parrot.

Not sure if I should change the category to OotS Group. Guess I'll leave it for now, since Miko and Belkar aren't part of the same group.

Belkar, he wields two ranged weapons and in case you didn't know ranger's have to pick a combat style (ranged or two weapon)

Yeah... its meant to be the OotS with "Pirate Queen Haley", Haley is in the Hammok, Elan is Holding the Fan-thing, Roy is holding the Wine, Belkar is being a Treasure-Chest Table, Durkon is sitting on the Rum, And V is Casting a Spell (no Idea why though...).

*snickers* Good, then it is easy to figure out... I wasn't sure on the pose, but I guess it's clear enough. I had to do that, since in most of the campaigns that I've been in where we had any type of sea-based travel, it was always the elf that hurled first!

RavenIf you look at the bottom of Wukei's post you can see that Lost in Brittany made them.

For a second I thought that I didn't win anything, but then I remembered that I was TSRE a week ago. Go me.

And I reused so much art during this competition that it isn't even funny. I still did a lot of work, but looking back, I only created one character (Haley) from scratch. Two if you count Blackwing.
