No, he's telling the truth. From what i've seen, the majority of web-comics end during their first year, and i've noticed something else too. All of these ex-web-comics have not include Q as a cameo/character. Well, except for the star trek comics. This must be it, there's no other possibility.

Well, the criteria for "complete webcomic" is as follows: I made most of this up, actually.
1. Must have finished. All comics have been made and the series stops. So not even the best comics like Order of the Stick and Anti-Heroes are complete,

2. Everything must come to a tidy and well explained conclusion. And that must mean everything. Even the tiniest of plot holes means it's not complete,

3. No sequels. If another comic comes after, even a spin-off, it makes the first comic incomplete,

4. Must have my characters the Q and/or the Green-shirted Q as cameo characters, even if it is the smallest role.

Now keep in mind that being "complete" isn't necessarily the same as "good".
In fact, completeness usually means it isn't as good as it could have been.

Wow, thanks for linking that. I only read the first and last 30 comics but i'll read the others eventually. The ending was so touching, so thought-provoking, constructed. I felt as if I knew the characters and wished the best for each and every one. Loved how the first and last comics were complete subversions. Best conclusion ever, seriously.

Enlong in-comic is... well, like me, of course. Generallyy soft-spoken, but possessed of an almost-impressive memory of random trivia, a tendency to fill in silence with babbling about stuff (example: there's an awkward silence. After a minute of feeling uncomfortable: "Hey, [random fact], ... um...") also self-consious about babbling. Generally a nice and personable guy.
Attempts to diffuse arguments by interrupting boths ides with facts.

Er, I've never used my guy in a comic (or anything) before, but I'd say in DND terms, he'd be a Wizard, with lotsa conjurations. I love the Hand spells in any edition, and any other force stuff.

Joke that I'd love to use one day in the comic.
"Bigby's Tripping Hand!"
Hand: "Heeey man. Woooah dude, you don't wanna get too close man. Uh-oh! Watch out duuude!" *trips*

I like the comic so far. The interviews are nice.

However, I agree with the sentiment that you should not lean on Copypaste for the comic. I suggest trying a to draw a few poses for the characters, starting with a neutral "talking" pose for the interviews. Also, try some expressions, like the :smallconfused: eyebrows for being confused, and stuff like that. Trust me, it should be fairly easy, since you have everyone's avatars as reference, and once you get some poses made it should be easy to make tweaks to those for every occasion, like gesturing with their arms as they talk, and changing their facial expressions depending on what they're saying. Just make them move a little bit between panels. Trust me, people will love you for it.

Oh, and one little pet peeve I have with speech bubbles. My reaction to any comic panel is to read the speech bubbles from top left to bottom right. Try and arrange the speech bubbles such that the conversation "flows" in that direction. It's confusing to have all of one character's lines up top, and the other's down below, when the character up top has one line, then the bottom character, then the top one again. It'll work better to, say, have the "first" bubble up top, the "next" one a bit below or to the right of it, and so on.

Just a bit of constructive criticism. You're on your way though, I probably couldn't even do as much as you are.

1. I hope you won't take this to harshly, but grammar is very important in these kinds of comics, and would you PLEASE cpitalise the beginings of your sentences.

2: The Chainsaws on Rand's arms are by far to short to be effective; perhaps you could change it to make them longer in a later comic?

Nice coupla comics, Elrond. One minor nitpick on the last one: When I read the first panel, I tried to read left-to-right and ended up reading the word balloons in revers order 'cause of it. Do you think you could arrange future word balloons in top-to-bottom/left-to-right order?
Otherwise, the comics are coming along nicely, and I'm real glad you decided to draw the characters; they just look better now. I do agree with FF fanboy though, in that you do need to properly capitalize and punctuate your sentences, a little grammar, goes a long way.

you should work on your speechballoon placing. People usually start reading on the left, so the first thingsaid in a panel should be above and/or left of all the other speechbubbles. then go from left to right and then add lines underneath.

You can put the first bubble on the right and the second on the left, but then you should put the first one very clearly above the second.


I really recommend you to do that, because so far I've been reading the speech in the wrong order in almost every panel.

Perhaps in the future you can show a bit of muzzle flash to show that he's fired. Oh, and it's spelled "earlier" Otherwise, you're improving.
