Why does it say "NEW!" next to topics that aren't new?

What does it mean to be a Pixie in the playground, as opposed to a dwarf, ogre, barbarian or giant?

The "NEW!" refers to whether there are new posts since the last time you looked at that forum page.

The titles Pixie, Dwarf, Barbarian, and Ogre refer to the number of posts you have made. Pixies have less than 50 posts.

Okay. Cool. And what do the stars under a name mean? I see you have five. I have two.

Can you tell me the breakpoint for the next step up from dwarf? Or link me to wherever I can read that myself?

Stars = rank. Pixies have 1, Dwarves have 2, Barbarians have 3, Ogres have 4. Moderators and administrators have 5 (green for moderators, red for administrators like me).
