- I'm DMing 2 homebrew games, One of which is basically stargate with magic.
PC's:
Aranthamir Ancrath 9th level gnomish wizard (Illusion) Status alive.
Atticus: Human Moon druid lvl 4 Status: dead due to DM burnout.
Nikolai: Wood Elf Monk 1 Status: Murdered by Wereboar/Bad DM.
Cormag Lvl 3 Triton Conquest Paladin, Status: petrified then shattered to be used as ammo for someones magic stone cantrip.
Rennac Bugbear scout rogue Lvl 8, status: Dead to DM burnout
Plus about 4 more that only lasted one session as the DM's didn't really want to DM.

The Best advice I've ever heard on DMing a fun game.
1. Once the session begins don't look at the rules, Make a decision and move on.
2. When in doubt rule in favor of the Player, You can always have a complication pop up if you need more excitement.
