All players will vote
in red as normal even if their vote is voided; it just doesn't count toward the final tally. Helgraf's Scry Interference is in full effect. If a player does not point for
2 3 or more day cycles they will be auto-lynched
even if their votes are known to be voided.
All villains can 'Shape-shift' for one night and day cycle by voiding their own unique power and vote for one night and day cycle. While shape-shifted, the villain is scried as 'Good' (a Joe Schmo, if scried by the Psion). The villains send in one collective night kill vote every night phase. All villains start the game in contact with one another, but are not informed of their individual roles.
All
Good roles are revealed on death.
All
Shape-shifter roles are shown as
Joe Schmo on death.
The accurate villain roles are revealed two full day cycles later.
The Shape-shifters:
Shape-shifters PM the Narrorator(s) with all night cycle actions during the same night cycle. All kill targets should be
in red. Special targets (Reaper's kill, Psion's scry target, etc.) should be
in blue.
Reaper:
The Reaper can, during any night phase, perform one (and only one) unstoppable, kill per game (This kill overrides any other force in the game). This kill replaces the usual night kill.
Psion:
The Psion can scry any target during the night phase and receive their full role. This scry is subject to any and all forms of interference.
Hypnotist:
The Hypnotist can choose a target every night phase. During the next day phase the target's point will be voided and the Hypnotist's point counts as three votes. However, if the target points at the Hypnotist, the Hypnotist's point is voided and the target's point counts as three votes (Hero Hammerton's vote counts as nine only when pointing against the Hypnotist). Special Rule: If the Hypnotist points at him/herself, it will count as one vote.
Harvester:
The Harvester collects votes toward him/herself throughout the game (These include Hero Hammerton's votes and do not include voided votes) and can, during any night phase, declare that he/she is using his/her ability. During the next day phase, the player that the Harvester points at gets all of the votes in the Harvester's pool accrued toward him/her for that day phase. All votes toward the Harvester during the day phase that he/she uses his/her ability do not count toward the Harvester's pool. The Harvester's pool of votes is reset after the ability is used. The Harvester is not aware of how many votes he/she has at any time.
Interdictor:
The Interdictor can void his/her own point during the next day phase to give interference to all scries during the current night phase.
Clairvoyant:
The Clairvoyant can void his/her own point during the next day phase to receive the names of every scry target during the current night phase. He/she does not receive the roles of the targets, nor the names of the scriers. This ability is immune to any and all interference.
Not all roles will be used depending on the amount of players. The Roles that are not being used will be announced at the start of the game.
The Good:
Hero Hammerton:
Hammerton's vote counts as three. Starts the game knowing the identity of Sly Sidekick. If Hero votes, he/she will automatically use his/her power.
Sly Sidekick:
Baner. Can choose any target to protect from the standard night kill. Starts the game knowing the identity of Hero Hammerton.
Rival Researchers:
Seer/Fool. Every night, the Researchers can scry a target; only the alignment is given. As long as both Researchers are alive, one will always receive a random result (determined by scrambling roles at the start of the game). This scry is subject to any and all forms of interference. If the accurate Researcher (Seer) dies, the inaccurate Researcher (Fool) becomes an accurate Researcher. Shape-shifting does not affect the scries of the inaccurate Researcher.
Special Rule: Rival Researcher always scries as Rival Researcher.
Scientists:
Masons. The Scientists start the game knowing the identity of the other Scientists. There are half as many Scientists as there are Shape-shifters (rounded up) at the start of the game.
Joe Schmo:
Villager. Has no abilities.
The game ends when there are no more Shape-shifters or the number of Good roles is equal to the number of Shape-shifters.
