"You have no reason to apologize. My death was decades ago, and it allowed me to follow my Path." the man doesn't turn back around.

Oh, that reminds her... Angela tries to kiss Sioda passionately!
Kyne blushes profusely, then decides to look to see if Chris is still in the room and what his reaction to this was. She wanted to just kiss Carrie, but if he was standing right there...

"Doesn't mean I can't still apologize. I don't think apologize ever truly time out, as it were. Not until they're said."

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
"I do not desire an apology," the bandaged man says. "It will not bring me back to mortality."

"You realize," Civvy says, putting her book down to look up at him.
"That I could, in fact, bring it back.
Especially if it was my that took it."

"No it's not. It'd just be very, very tricky.
Don't ever give up hope, eh?"
-

"I'm afraid I do not share your optimism."

"That's fine," Civvy admits with a sigh. "A lot of people don't.
But there are some out there, I hope.
So why would it be impossible to do?"

Sioda is quite happy about this, reaching up to pet her fiancee's ears during the duration of said snog.

Carrie isn't very interested in this whole "waiting" thing and tries to just kiss Kyne anyway.

Then by what means are you 'dead'?"

"It is my mortality that is gone," the bandaged man says. "Without it, I cannot be alive."

". . . so, your body is dead, with a soul in it?" Civvy asks, fairly painfully confused. "That actually sounds really easy to fix. Basically just cleanse the dead bits, and get it back making new live stuff."
-
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
"If that was how it worked, then I would be capable of resurrecting myself." The bandaged man thinks about how best to explain himself. "For me, mortality is a separate entity, akin to a soul. Without it, my body is only a shell, regardless of whether or not it is healed. I remain in a state between life and death."

"So then . . . either find a way to bring that back in, or just separate you from your soul, and then do a normal revive on you?
Not that I'm suggesting you die or anything, I'm just wondering if that would work."
-
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
The only method that would work would be to regain my mortality."

". . . kay." With that being decided! Civvy then gets to move on to; "So is your gun special? People who like to fight evil always tend to have special guns, and I like hearing all the fun different things they can do."

[Meanwhile, while the player still remembers to do things]
Chris sort of steps out while the kiss happens. Don't want things to be horribly awkward. Well, relatively speaking anyways. In all honesty, Chris wonders in the back of his mind if he actually did the right thing here, but that's something that he can talk to someone else about later.

It's a very long snog indeed. Angela purrs happily when she finally pulls away, ears twitching under Sioda's hand.
Kynegetis is about to frown at Chris' receeding back when Carrie kisses her. After a moment of surprise and self-doubt, she gives in and kisses the winged goddess back.

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Sioda giggles, enjoying giving the scritchies.
---
Carrie holds her tightly, wings forming a privacy screen as usual.

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Love you. The foxgirl smiles blissfully.
When the kissing is done, Kyne pulls back a little to catch her breath. Um. Carrie? I have no idea what's going on right now.

"My firearm is bane to the Unjust," the bandaged man says while drawing his revolver and holding it flat in his palm. "It is imbued with the holy magics in my soul."

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
You too, dear... you and your oh-so-pettable ears.

We're both not very good at social situations and we're making up.
And out.

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
We should probably go tell people now, huh?
Ah. And is Chris... okay with this? Because I think I love him too.

"So does it drain a certain amount every time, and you'll eventually run out? Or was it a thing you did to it, and it doesn't actually drain any?" Civvy asks, raising an eyebrow curiously.

I do believe a lot of surprise-hugs and shouty good news are in order, yes.

Let's ask him!
Carrie smirks.

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Angela grabs Sioda's hand and runs off to exuberantly yell at the first person they run into. :smalltongue:
The Aspect continues to blush, but will follow Carrie to go talk to Chris.
-
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Carrie will go look for Chris, looking rather cheery.

Hmm... let's make that lucky person... TOBIAS! DING! PATTY! DING!
