My mum works in the publishing industry, so we're more likely to buy a book than go to the library.

Re: Masa's Massively Masterful Message Medium - Random Banter #146
I had a pretty weird dream tonight:
I was walking around and did stuff which I don't remember especially well. Anyway, I got tired and decided to sit down and rest under our apple tree (there are wild strawberries planted under it in real life, but apparently not in the dream). Just when I'd made myself comfortable, I heard a rather ominous "stereotypical giant insect"-sound, and I sprang up thinking "ANTS!". Then I noticed that it just was littlest brother who sat up in the tree (eating a pear, for some reason), but I realized that the tree usually is covered with ants anyway, so I decided to not rest against it anyway.
Instead, I decided to post the episode here, and I recieved a response from Rawhide, who wondered if it was I who crossed the ants path or the other way around (I can't remember how I wrote in my post). I began to formulate an answer stating that it was both, when I started to wake up and realized that I was dreaming, and so I decided to write that it was all just a dream anyway.
And then, a few seconds later, and a little bit more awake, I realized that it was all just a dream, and that I probably had to write something about it here. :smallamused:

See?
Perfectly safe.
Wait, what? That's not the address I have.
You gave me an address to the Infinite Library of the Planes, not the Infinite Plane of Libraries.
You LIED to me!:smallfrown:
Also, managing to get both a Hitchhiker's Guide reference and a Star Trek reference into that address: Genius.
Posting on a forum, one will always give out more information than what one might have suspected initially. it's just part of being in constant conversation about all types of stuff.
You tell anecdotes of what's happened to you, or replying to something someone says, and all of a sudden, you let out that you live in Ohio... Or Florida. Or Scotland.
Then you go to another thread where people discuss school stuff, and you happen to let out that you're 15 years old. Or 35. Or 23.
Then someone mentions they're moving to a new house, or a new city, and you happen to mention that you live in a foreign country from where you grew up, and only see your family once or twice a year. Or that your folks are divorced or separated and you stay mostly with your mom, or mostly with your dad.
There's no way of getting away from posting stuff about yourself on discussion forums except for not posting at all. no one can keep up an internet persona so completely as to fool anyone for an extended period of time.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that if you're dedicated enough, you should pretty easily be able of finding out who I am, even though I haven't posted any pictures of myself (yet). I've given away my age, date of birth, first name, country of residence, and I think I've given away enough hints for someone to pinpoint in what town I live and what school I'm going to.

Well we do, but they just utterly suck so much, there's really no reason to go.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is true for me too. I'm relying on the fact that anyone who wanted to find out all this would have to read through a fair amount of posts and I'm just not interesting enough to warrant that kind of time commitment.
I have no Playgrounders on my Facebook. It's nothing personal, or even deliberate really, I've just separated my net and real life and Facebook is for my real life. Despite being on the net.

(tries to input ten of the most common variations on "Hey, good to see you X", gets asterisked every time but one, and most of you are too young to know what to do with the paper bag anyhow)
I'm thinking it's the latter. :smalltongue:

Huh? Polite would be lying to someone to tell them they're skinny. Or smart. Or that their pants don't make them have a huge butt. I suppose you could actually be genuine, but who'd do that? Lots of people, I know. I'm genuine sometimes. SOMETIMES being the key thing.

... A woman that was born in the same city I did, who lives in the same city I do and with whom I trained boxing with is going to fight for the WBC Super Bantamweight Title today. :smalleek:
A pity that the fight is in Argentina. If it were here, I'd show up there to giver her my support.

I'm not sure what all of that means, but it sounds awesome.

Now I'm an experimental chef. I invented my own pancakes: Blueberry pancakes. They were a huge success. They were awesome. I'm a bit too proud for my own best, but I don't care, because I'm an experimental chef.
Larger verson of avvie, just in case:

You most certainly did not invent blueberry pancakes :smallannoyed:

I've been making blueberry pancakes for years now.
Hint for the reference: I am Gondor! Gondor has no pants, Gondor needs no pants!
Ofcourse I don't know the exact name translation of blueberry, but I've made every recipe from my pancake recipe book, which contains over 50 recipes. To make pancakes. Including but not limited to Tree, farmhand, Ninja, Vampire, Sombrero and Whipped Cream.
