Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
((Sorry, my friend's mom had a stroke, she had to go to Pittsburgh to deal with things, I've spent the last week watching her kids, it's been exhausting.))
Awww, geez, I wasn't here for all that.
I dunno, what would someone called The Admiral haul in a truck?
Heck, let's just go with Rubber Ducks.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
((Ouch. Sorry to hear that. :smallfrown: ))
Hmm. Rubber duckie, you're the one...
Agree.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ding! Ding! Ding! You guessed correctly. He was hauling Rubber Ducks.

Can I haz reaverb with Classic?

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ah, Classic Werewolf (in case you're not catching on, this is the Werewolf Special Playground Squares. :smallamused:), the first game I ever played in the Playground was Werewolf Classic VII- The Village.

It was a wonderful game, filled with beautiful narrations. It was a great influence on me. So, reaverb, your question is: On Day 1, one player immediately tried to break the game by asking one simple question: "Can wolves kill at night?" Who was this mad man?
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
That was a pretty ridiculous loophole Emperor Demonking tried to exploit. I was expecting it to be Mustiado given their poster in the general werewolf thread.

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ding! Ding! Ding! Correct Emperor Demonking read somewhere that players were not supposed to talk about their roles in the game thread. So, he concluded that if everyone asked a question about the wolves, we'd know who the wolves were, since they couldn't talk about themselves.

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
That sounds like Emperor Demonking, all right. (From the games I've read where he played)
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Yeah, he had some strange ideas...
I'm pretty sure in Fears 1 he tried to get everyone to pick a color for their text, thinking that since I used different colors to differentiate my dialogue it would reveal a player's identity in the narration.
He made things interesting, to say the least, even if his train ran on different tracks than everyone else's sometimes.

I skimmed the first pages of Fears 1 and couldn't find anything about that. My guess is it happened in a different game.

DarkLightDragon, can I bother you for Just a little...?
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Try bothering harder. :smallconfused:

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
The original Tiny Werewolf, run by Skippy, was the first no PM game I had ever heard of, even before the first Witch-Hunt was announced. It was a fun little game with no Masons, no Devil or Fool, possibly a Seer, and we killed the Baner the first day. :smalleek: Oops. Well, he was quoting Emperor Palpatine, so he kinda asked for it. :smallamused:
DarkLightDragon, what non-player appeared during the game as a Kiss-O-Gram?
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ooo, that's a tough one, going back a bit... Laughing Man sounds about right.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Hmm. I think I'm-a gonna disagree.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ding! Ding! Ding! The correct answer was Cyber-Wolf.

Emmental isn't here right now, but he did authorise me to take his calls.

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Elemental, Invasion of the Zombies: Outbreak is the second game of three involving, well, the players trying to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse!
Each "Day", the players can take one of two actions, as well as choose a suspected Zombie to lynch. The two actions are to either Fortify or Scavenge.
In Outbreak, you could scavenge for specific types of items, Armaments, Medicine, Information/Surveillance, or Miscellaneous. Day 2, 21 players found items of varying types. Who found the all important Bag of Belongings?
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Wow... This takes me back... Well, that's what I'd be saying if it did take me back and all that. However, I have consulted numerous oracles, sages and historical texts and have come up with what may or may not be the right answer.
I do believe it was Recaiden who found the all important Bag of Belongings.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
I... yikes. I shall Agree?
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Ding! Ding! Ding! Correct. Recaiden did find the Bag of Belongings day 2. I wanted to ask what it specifically did (if anything), but I couldn't find an answer for that myself. :smallfrown:

Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Reading over the OP Narration of DBZ, evidently I was playing a DragonBall Z game, and never knew it. :smalleek:
And now looking up these characters for the first time, I am saddened that I had the ugly one (Dodoria). :smallfrown:
Back to the game. It was a short game, only 19 players, and lasting only 6 Days/Nights. Goku and his evil followers conquered Frieza and the heroes rather efficiently. Taking out Dodoria (Night 3), Frieza (Day 4), and then the "Seer" (Night 4).
What was the character name of the Seer in this game?

Actually, if you see the abridged series, she was the most beautiful (and fertile) of her species. :smalltongue:
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
I remember this game. I always thought it was kinda hokey how Vegeta would use his scanner to detect the power levels of the players and discern their identity through their power levels, but I'm made bigger leaps of logic to justify characters in my games.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
This sounds logical. I agree.
-
Re: Playground Squares XII: Where the fun never ends. EVER!
Oh, this would be a bad thing for you to do. B-b-b-zzzzting!! Seems the buzzer's broken. :smallfrown: But anyway, the true answer is: Zarbon.
As that would win Cuthalion the game, no one get's the Square.
