Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
:D ...Probably not. :smallfrown:
Davidson leads Jamie towards the classroom, grabbing supplies from Admiral *assuming he lets them take those supplies...<.<; * as they pass.
"I'll give you extra credit for my class if you do a good job." Davidson offers, noting Jamie's crestfallen state.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Jamie's powers will one day allow for that. But that day is not this day.
Much to her dismay. Olé! ?
Jamie perks up a little at that. "Really? But, I don't want to be ahead of my friends 'just cause of this," she adds quickly, her arms (presumably) loaded with supplies.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Of course not, Jamie. :smallamused: You wouldn't want Davidson to think you were only doing it for credit after all.
"Don't worry Jamie. As far as I'm concerned, you've more than earned it."
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"Really?" Jamie smiles. "Thanks, Mr. Davidson. I appreciate it. So, um...maybe I should apologise to everyone else, too? For getting them into this?"
-

This route leads to court proceedings and criminal charges Davidson. I don't think you should be alone in that classroom with Jamie any more. :smallyuk:
Butler grabs a rag and some cleaner and gets to work! Humming along time with Decker.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
@^: ...:smallannoyed: Eww. That's just sick. She's TWELVE. -_-; It's not my fault that Davidson happens to be a very cool teacher.
"Hmm? Well, I suppose if you want to. Though for now, let's focus on the task at hand."
And my goodness is it a task. They hadn't realized it the other day during the fight, but by the looks of things...student desks have been thrown to the floor, all the papers on the teacher's desk have been blown off, chalk is everywhere, supplies are scattered all across the floor and room, and that's not even mentioning the windows, which currently have planks of wood keeping the breeze out.
"...Ah, right. A bit...worse than I expected, admittedly, but nothing we can't fix, right?"
...Optimist. :smallyuk:
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"Eew. And, um...yeah, I guess we can fix it. Where do we start though?"
...and Jamie starts to work, as her player has to scurry off.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"Well, let's just start by picking things up,how about?"
Davidson offers a brave smile, even though it looks VERY difficult task...
Fortunately, most of it will be montaged and scene-skipped away! Hooray!

Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"Cleanin'? No'un told me "spirit day" meant helpin' dese scamps out wit dere mess." :smallannoyed:
That's right! Decker brought a Pirate with her along with the devil and almost-nude catboy. Ermine critically looks over the mess, wondering if they would expect her to do menial tasks.
The pirate glares at Davidson's narrator, the fourth wall lying dead at her feet. Course, no one else is going to notice.
SE23 cleans! Stuff! Without complaint! And is boring! SPARTA!

Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
A boy in a wheel chair begins to start towards PACK. Ever so slowly, he proceeds to the door. Assuming nobody decides to interact with him, he makes it to the stairs, spews forth a few oaths, and, upon standing, begins to struggle up the stairs to his dorm. If someone recognizes him (the chances of that are quite remote), they will find that he is none other than Alex Pyborne with a broken arm and damaged leg. A huge gash also runs across his face. To climb stairs with a body this damaged is a feat of grit and pain-tolerance.

Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Zel, in her deadtimed state, went with Davidson and Jamie. And now, she helps with the cleaning, using her abilities when appropriate.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Jamie smiles at Zel, appreciating the help, and watching how she uses her abilities with interest.
...her sonic abilities being of rather less use. :smalltongue:
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
A couple of times, something drops mid-float. Zel makes a sad face when this happens, but tries again.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Decker looks over to see if Kal and Ermine are having as much fun cleaning as she and Butler are.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Well, Kal is good at pretending at least. He waves cheerfully at Decker, then resumes scrubbing and cleaning, wishing he could scrub away the DEADNESS in his soul. The horror.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"You're pretty good at that!" Jamie calls to Zel with a smile.

"It's fun ma'am! Here, I'll show you how ma'am!"
Butler proceeds to show Ermine how cleaning is fun!
...
Yeah, I don't know how he does it either. Obviously there's a musical number involved.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Zel looks over at Jamie and smiles. Really? You think so?
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Decker totally participates in the cleaning montage musical number.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Jamie nods happily as she wrings out a rag.
"Yeah, really! A lot better than I'm doing," she giggles.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Zel blushes a little, which stands out on her pale face.
Aw...thanks Jamie.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"You're welcome!" Jamie says cheerfully, as she grabs a desk and drags it back over to its proper position as part of the cleaning montage.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Even Rocky had a montage!
Zel continues her parts of said montage.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
And so does Jamie, as BR must head to sleep soon.
((night!))
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Ermine is totally brainwashed by the cleaning montage.
"Ye were right Butler, cleanin' is fun!"
The pirate is seething in her mind as she gets to scrubbing and various other cleaning things. She refuses to touch a vacuum cleaner, however.
She's quite good at cleaning. Probably because that's what you do before you can prove your worth on a pirate ship. Clean.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Hmm...I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be something interesting going on. But all I see are a bunch of people cleaning.
Cleaning the destruction away from the school. The chaos, the anarchy...
The Reality...
Oh yes, Ermine might have some swabbing experience on the poop deck, but I'm willing to bet she's never scrubbed it so hard that the deck itself started to come apart.
And even so, the hole that it leaves should probably not be so...geometric. a perfect rhombus sort of trapezoid cut right into the wall.
And where it ought to lead into the room behind it, this hole doesn't seem to lead into anything at all. Behind it is...
Well, have you ever seen the static on an old TV? The fuzzy white and black dots that dance around in chaos when you turn it to channel 3?
That's what this hole looks like. Except where a television is a convex curve, this hole is perfectly flat, yet seems to lead into some...space...quite a lot of space actually. And it seems to concave inward, not just a little, but infinitely.
Trying to find the exact center is a bit like staring straight into the sun. If you try it for too long, it'll hurt your eyes. And your brain.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
Ermine looks at the hole. Then around her. Then at the hole again.
"I did'nae do it."
She pokes the static. Experimentally.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
It is noticeably impossible to actually poke the static, and as her hand passes through where the wall OUGHT to be, she will feel it steadily start to go numb...
And see her fingertip start to dissolve into static itself.
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
"Not gud."
Her finger is quickly pulled backward. She glares at the static for a while, unsure of what to do with it.
"Can some'un wit magicks come fix dis ting? Me'finks da wall borked."
-
Re: [Nexus] PACK II: The Perfectly Appropriate College for Kids!
As she pulls her finger away, she finds that the tip of her finger is still feeling rather...numb.
And that it appears to be covered in static.
