That's something we can all agree on.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I have an interview in an hour. And I made the dean's list again.

Explain for someone who doesn't know the U.S. educational system.

It's not just an American thing. I know we have them in Australia because my brother got in when he was going to university.
Basically, it's a list of the best students of the prearranged period of time.

Finally some luck; I now have two internships! I'll work on the comic right after lunch.

And two posts too, it seems. :smalltongue:
Anyway, good for you! I hope things keep going well.

Doesn't count as badass unless she joins the military and becomes a special ops agent. Who always carries a swiss army knife and her own matches. And becomes renowned for her unique methods.
Okay, being good at a way of fighting (actual fighting, not strip fencing, which is about as useful when fighting as Grand Theft Auto is when driving a car) would suffice. But it's not as cool.

I'm pretty sure that's the official name for fencing where you're not allowed to move off a strip of cloth. Why they don't just call it line fencing, I don't know.

Allow me to present a counterargument.

Unfortunately, spellcasting does not exist in the real world. :smallfrown:
If I can't get the comic up before I go to sleep, then I'll get it up before I watch Korra tomorrow, or within half an hour. Sorry guys.

Never assume luck when competence is a sufficient answer. :smalltongue:

You watch Korra too? Why is it that all of my favorite authors/artists on the internet seem to enjoy the exact same TV shows as I do?
Also, luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Thus, you can always assume at least half of the credit for whatever lucky breaks you receive.

...well, if they share enough of a taste with you to make something you like, it makes sense you'd watch/read the same stuff. xD

After this, Korra time!
#186: Should Have Used That Earlier

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Panel Five err'd in the speech bubble-pointer thing. I don't think RUST is the one being incredulous at the rash accusations that are true but still.:smallwink:

Dammit. :smallannoyed: Thanks, Sheep.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I hope I'm not spamming a question that's been asked dozens of times before, but are there any gnomes in this setting? I can't recall if I've seen any in the comic before, though it's been a while since I've gone through the archive. I'm just curious cuz I like gnomes, that's all.
If they've been left out because this art style makes it hard to distinguish them from dwarves, then I totally understand.

What? Gnomes always have long, grey beards, if they have any at all. Dwarves have brown or red beards, and always have beer. Very dissimilar. Speciesist. :smalltongue:
(I think Terrence was a gnome. Him and that gnomish looking girl, with the cart and the funny looking donkey-horse)

Terrence is a halfling (so I assume due to his big hairy feet), and Gianna was a dwarf.
I was also confused about Gianna's race at first, so I'm glad that was resolved as the story progressed.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Why do I get the feeling that Rust will still make his save?
