The Coward must go!!!
I point at Fin
Throughout the day, a few people can be seen carrying on a loud conversation in the center of town. Every once in a while, one of them will yell out for support from the passersby, who mostly either give a thumbs up or sneer and keep on walking.
Eventually, Fleeing Coward does anything but flee in anything but a cowardly manner. He boldly walks up to the gallows and sticks his own head in the noose, all the while continuing his speech about the ill gotten gains of the oppressive oligarchy.
Fin follows right behind him making his own speech about the state of the nation since the Emperor's crowning and the people owe their livelihood to his wise and benevolent leadership.
Once both men reach the platform, a man in the crowd suggests that this is not the way that honorable men settle their differences.
Eh?
What?
Speak your piece, good man. What are you saying?
Indeed, please clarify your stance.
Simple. You both claim that you're working in the best interest of the people. I suggest you let the powers above sort it out.
How do you propose we do that?
:smallconfused:
A duel.
*the man produces an elegantly carved wooden case from beneath his cloak and opens it, revealing two ivory handled duelling pistols*
Oooohh!
I see! Yes! I accept.
As do I!
Both men return to the crowd and approach the man, who holds out the case for them to choose. They each reach in, secure a pistol, and stand back to back.
Clear a path, folks, and make it wide unless you want to get hit by a stray bullet.
The man puts the box on the ground and faces the men.
Gentlemen, are you ready?
Both men look at him and nod affirmatively.
Very well. I shall start counting to ten. At each number, take one pace. When I say "ten" turn around and fire. The one who stands is the winner. Understood?
Understood.
Understood.
One
*both men take one step*
Two
Three
*Ba-BANG* Two shots are fired, both men fall, but neither had turned around. The crowd looks at the man to see what's happening and he's holding a smoking pistol in each hand.
There, now maybe I can hear myself think without these two yammering on.
Hey, ummm, you know that there were three that were actually doing most of the discussing, right?
Yeah, but you don't think I'm gonna shoot the guy claiming to be the heir, do you? Just in case he's not lying?
Ah, good point. Who were they really, anyway?
Let's check, shall we?
Summary: Fleeing Coward was "executed by the Nobles". He was a Peasant and a Rebel.
Fin was "lynched by the peasants". He was the Captain of the Guard and was Loyal.
Night 7 begins and will end at approximately 7am EST on 3/7.
For all my valiance, shot in the back. Tis a shame.
And how do you think I feel? I was obviously going to win that duel :smallamused:
*The ghost of the sushi salesman waits patiently for the slaughterfest to continue while haunting those that are still loyal.*
Why do the peasants keep killing my gaurds?:smallfurious: and where is my imperial army?:smallconfused: :smallwink:
Alright, everyone who pointed at Fin is officially on my list of "Kill him, he's a rebel!" So I'd say it looks like easyname, zombie pixe, and evnafets are definitely due for an encounter with an unfriendly guillotine... I'm willing to give ZP the benefit of the doubt for right now, since he's not a part of the rebel control over the peasant bandwagon. Any noble rebels are probably less of a threat than the peasant ones... The loyal nobles appear to have numbers on their side in the voting ring, if my interpretation of votes is any indication (although I supect that all the rebel nobles voted to off FC to cover their tracks).
Just remember, if you're going to kill me tonight, do it in style.
How can you accuse us of being rebels just because we own the lynch vote and voted for someone you all knew was captain of the guard? Honestly...
Kill you in style we shall. Don't you worry
This death scene provided by the Rebels...
Summary: DarkLightDragon was murdered by the Rebels. She was the Drunkard and was Loyal.Quote:
Down at the local tavern, some are celebrating the capture of another rebel. Others are lamenting the loss of the Captain of the guard, some are just there drinking out of habit.
Itsh like thish shee? I washn't to know that I was jusht dreaming. I'm not a drunk - no. I don't have a drinking problem. I drink, I get drunk, I fall ashleep - no problemsh! I'm jusht a goship who likesh to drink a little (hic)
Noone notices a small pill dropped into the tankard.
Everybody notices as a few minutes later, DarklightDragon turns purple in the face, and collapses under the table, but most just pass it off as a regular occurance.
Its only when the barman goes to close the tavern that they find out its not a regular drunken stupor.
Day 8 begins and will end at approximately noon EDT on 3/9.
Hey, didn't the rebels say they want to kill Shsihnarfne? You can rely on nobody nowadays.
Poor DLD, it was nice drinking with you.
I don't even think I need Freshmeat to help me analyze this one. Easyname, Time for your meeting with the big man.
I point at Szilard! He's acting very suspicous and I don't think he's capable of ruling this land anymore.
Well, since I suspect you're a noble, I'll try to bandwagon zombie pixe, and see if we can swing two peasant rebel executions...
And why didn't the rebels kill me? I suspect I may have an idea, but I'm not going to mention it yet...
Suffice it to say that I'd be surprised to survive much longer...
Nobody points at me and lives! Unless my evil vizer tells me to change my point, I sayZar Peter! You have been warned, the emperor is not as forgiving as I am, wait...
((Ah, so many comments I want to make but am no longer able!))
Die Mustiado you non-rebel scum.
ok, what we need here is a plan. If we're to erradicate the rebel presence in our fair city we have to be organized. Along the lines of Freshmeat's ideas here's my proposed plan.
Nobles vote for Zombie Pixie
Peasants vote for Easyname.
Zombie Pixie, you have been fouling up our city long enough.
^fix your vote, you messed up on the point.
Who says Im corrupt? The rebels are the ones killing people, wether directly or through influncing votes.
Aww man, don't come with logic. Everyone knows that the government is corrupt and that we need a new one. Every method is appreciated to do this, a few collateral damages occured but I'm sure the new government will be generous to the families of the poor innocent deaths.
*point at easyname*
(remember, at this point we want to kill rebel peasants, not rebel nobles)
What?! why am i a rebel?! all i did was point at some odd person who had a few points agaisnt him! :smallfrown:
i dont want to die... :smallfrown: :smallfrown:
If you didn't want the loyalists trying to execute you, you should've voted with them against the rebels.... It's not too late for you to fix that... (unless you are a rebel, in which case your doom shall be swift and sure). Or at least, that's what I want you to believe.
evnafets points at Mustiado
Guys, I think its fairly obvious that they're trying to mount up that peasant bandwagon for my head today. With that being said, let's lynch the two most obvious targets. That being, the peasant that has admitted he's a rebel, and then gentleman following him to back his vote.
I knowFreshmeatThe Cube has asked for Zombie Pixie's death, but I'd like to request the nobles stick with easyname, and the peasants shoot for Evnafets. I don't know how many rebel peasants remain, but two down will go a long way towards getting us a win condition.
*points at easyname*
