Re: A Small Wager A Practical Guide to Evil
Ah, no, I'm bad at math, duh. A Misyeet here means that Xihirli can kill at night, leaving it 1v1 and a presumed victory for the wolves. That explains it. I was spiralling into "is Caedorus secretly a wolf in neutral clothing" for a second there.

Hm. That's a bit risky but it seems in-character.
Well, I didn't block you, and neither did Merel. So either she has defenses of some sort, or Cultist tried to steal your Smite.

Rude. Unnecessary.
Re: A Small Wager A Practical Guide to Evil
Last night I did nothing because I was cut off from discord, probably permanently this time (my brothers' fault, they were both caught misusing it, so it's been blocked from all our computers).
I am in contact with the host, though, and I was not culted. I have also received no more injuries.

Good news, probably won't matter. We could use your vote on Xihirli, if you have the chance, 99% she was the one culted yesterday.

There exists a world in which Xihirli has a broken scry and flat is the wolf, but if her role had that sort of thing I doubt she would have been so confident in accusing me.

I missed the "permanently" cut off part, oof. That's brutal, I'm sorry.

I can't prove it, but I did not, in fact, kill cultist. I merely Confiscated one of his aspects, as revenge for him confiscating one of mine.

Alright. Remind me, does your steal stop the person you're stealing from from using it? I thought I remembered you saying it didn't stop them, but this sort of implies otherwise.
Re: A Small Wager A Practical Guide to Evil
I guess it's still unanswered then how Xi seems to have been unaffected by my kill last night?

I mean, three likely answers, in descending order of plausibility:
1. Xihirli has an inherent defensive attribute that she didn't share, either gained through becoming a wolf or just inherent to her;
2. Cultist Confiscated your power (not sure if Caedorus would have stopped this?)
3. Xihirli has a broken scry and doesn't realize it, and you were the one to kill Cultist.

My Steal does not. My stolen use of Confiscate does.

Vote for Xihirli and steal from me, then. I would like to have my block in case, so please do not Confiscate. This should win you the game.
Re: A Small Wager A Practical Guide to Evil
At the end, there will be more than the Gods.
With the Last Dusk will come the passing of Creation, discord turning to concord as the wager of Fate is resolved. Yet it shall not be the end of everything, for though all came of the emptiness of Void to create is to make something from nothing. That is our gift, and so the sum of the choices we have made will echo beyond the bounds of time.
In the end, we are told, they will all have mattered.
The page of the Book of All Things
And with another turn of fate, the good triumphs over evil as the sun dyes the world in brilliant colours.
End of Story.
Congratulations to the Heroes, the Thief, and the Lord of Frozen Orchids for winning this wager!
