I won't dispute this statement but I will disagree with it's taking up space in this thread, we risk getting locked with political discussion.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
does anyone know where I can get a list of warlock offensive magic?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
Does anybody know if TF2 is better for PC or Xbox? I've been planning on getting it, but I don't know which is better.
In other news... ya.

Computer versions get all the updates, including the achievements and unlockable weapons.
@V I think there's a comprehensive invocation list on the Wizards website

They don't give it to you with Xbox Live? That's strange.

PC Advantages: More maps; quicker, free updates; custom maps (some of which are good, others are absolutely terrible); better game lobby; can be bought alone or with Orange Box
Xbox Advantages: Slower, less twitchy pace; smoother graphics; smaller chance of running into griefers
PC Disadvantages: May not run on all systems; controls can be difficult for console gamers; frame skip can interfere with graphics
Xbox Disadvantages: Only 6 maps; when updates come, they will cost ~$10; several easily exploited glitches (shooting through the gate before the match starts, sky walking, hiding sentry guns underground where you can't get them); game lobby sucks; only available in Orange Box (which you should probably get anyway)
If you've played shooters on the PC and liked them, I suggest PC. I have xbox, and when I tried playing on my friends computer, I couldn't handle it. The game feels like it moves faster and the controls weren't as familiar and comfortable as the xbox version.

They're working on it. Unfortunately, Microsoft won't let valve provide them as free downloads, so they're trying to get as much together and offer it all in one package.
I'm kinda frustrated, because Valve is one of the SLOWEST video game developers EVER. I think they spend all day playing TF2 instead of working.

I wouldn't fault them for that.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
Team Fortress 2 is probably the best half a game I've ever played.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
Half a game?
So what's the best game then?

Although, Portal's basically half a game, too.
Valve is the best team of game developers that don't make games.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
Why's that? edit; portal being half a game that is.

Shortness, lack of content. It's an amazing game despite (or perhaps because of) its simplicity, but, compared to, say, Half-Life, there's just so little content.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
In the game maybe, but wasn't there a back story to the game somewhere on the web? And yeah, it is a bit too short.

Whoops, didn't notice the second one. But as for the first one, I wasn't blaming you for missing it, I was just proving that I had asked for them already. Is it so hard to believe someone when they say they've already said something?

Well, sure you had asked for it, but perhaps you could have asked when I would've seen it. That's partially what I meant. You could have asked me.
But, nevermind. You have the sprites, Sprite wars can continue. It really dosen't matter.

I was noticed! Yay!
*Casts vote for MechaFox.*
EDIT: The good news would be that I now have an ABR templater for Mechafox. Or I would...
...if he wasn't using a frickin' fox/dog/thing!

Personally, I hate and loathe all console FPSs, so I will recommend PC.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
@Threeshades I have never heard about that thing post a link (I dislike using something I don't now about). and the next one who's close to you's gonna die, no danger for me.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XI: Sorry, Q!
I'm posting right now just to say that due to time differences I'll probably not get to respond quickly tomorrow (Though I think it's today for most of you). Don't hesitate to interact with me, though, as I will undoubtedly be here in the evenings -> late night as always.
Also, regarding the lyrics in a certain sig:
Spoiler
Show
You are here alone again
In your sweet insanity
All too calm, you hide yourself from reality
Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty?
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely
The fields are filled with desires
All voices crying for freedom
But all in vain they will fade away
There's only you to answer you, forever
In blinded mind you are singing
A glorious hallelujah
The distant flutter of angels
They're all too far, too far to reach for you
I am here alone again
In my sweet serenity
Hoping you will ever find me in any place
I will call it solitude when all my songs fade in vain
In my voice, far away to eternity
Just sayin'.
