Man, that's awesome. Geek weddings are always awesome.
My brother's upcoming wedding is gonna be harry potter-themed.

I'm kinda happy because my first thought on seeing the picture was "wow, that's awesome!" and then the second thought was "CREEPER!"
If those were reversed, I might have had to take a break from minecraft for a while.

I must say that that is the coolest and most adorable thing that I have ever seen. I especially love the one of where she crept up behind him and gave him a hug, and he said "Aw, you're the best creeper ever!" :smalltongue: Coolest wedding ever. I wish we could buy those sodas around here... That would be so cool!

What is the warp command to get to the creative mode world mentioned a few pages back?, I tried using /wg 1 but it took me to ironcraft.
edit; or was the post just talking about the ironcraft competition?

Well, you could /warp to any other established warp on the creative world. The closest warp to the main spawn point I'm aware of is /warp delphinus.

Do zombie invasions do anything other than make a ungodly racket?
As i am in the middle of one on my Flatcore world and all they are doing is streaming in and out of houses and making noise.

Well... They kill villagers, attack the player, give XP when killed, drop all sorts of cool stuff, get recruited by MJ for his latest album (he's a zombie now), and sometimes... they eat brains.

I need to place TNT for my Ironcraft entry. I promise I won't hurt anyone else's entry. Allow #46 to be placed/ignited?

Why ignited?
Personally, I think there should be a block that looks like TNT but doesn't ignite or explode, so that you can make stuff that looks like huge explosive stockpiles without actually risking it all blowing up if you mess up when making the redstone-powered door to the bunker.

To your house, unless you're on Hard difficulty, no, they just pound away and make you jump out of your skin.
To villagers houses, they break down the doors and eat their braaaaiiiinnnnsss.
And if you're on Hard difficulty, they'll break down your (wooden) doors too...

I need the TNT to explode in order to see if the cannons work. A real gun is more impressive than a realistic toy one, yes?

Hmm, the don't seem to be killing any in the village i am in but in my home base they cant get in (big honking wall around most of it) so i guess the population is more noticeable there

Put a specific block found nowhere else in your build where the TNT should go.

I was unaware that door breaking was a thing....interesting.
How far away from a village do they spawn? This could have unfortunate repercussions for my city when I populate it. That said, everything is solvable by sufficient numbers of Golems.

Re: Minecraft Thread X: In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the ... SSSSSSSS
could I have my inventory in rptown restored?, I lost it due to a bug that occurred when I teleported from the creative world after getting stuck inside of a block due to a bug with a boat which caused me to instantly die of falling damage while also dropping my inventory into the void when I teleported to a worldgroup with survival mode on.

Guys, I'm having trouble with installing some mods. I'm attempting to apply the following together to Minecraft:
Lights Out [link]
Minecraft Forge [link]
Iron Chests Mod [link]
ModLoader [link]
Timber! Mod [link]
The way I use to try and install them:
-After downloading the mods, extract them to a file on my desktop which contains all my mod files.
-Open up the zip files the mods are contained in using 7-zip file manager.
-Open up minecraft.jar using 7-zip file manager.
-Drag the mod files over to the minecraft.jar.
-Delete META-INF.
When I was just using modloader and the timber mod, it worked fine. When I added in the other mods and Forge, minecraft froze on the "Done loading" screen with the bar most of the way full. Then I have to delete the minecraft folder and reinstall it.
What am I doing wrong here?

Hmm. those links are blocked by my antivirus. My guess? Some might be using the same class files. Or its the Minecraft Forge mod, which seems completely useless in that list.

I'll assume you mean Windows as you say you're hardware illiterate. (macs are PCs as well)
Are you sure java is installed? Are you the administrator? Does minecraft need/have permission from whatever antivirus software you're running? Is this both downloaded version and browser version?

Can't sleep so I dug this up:
How to fix minecraft virtual machine error
Other solutions include:
using Java 6 instead of 7
Using Java 7 instead of 6
Reinstalling the correct version of Java for your OS (64 vs 32)
Increase or decrease the java heap size
Reinstalling minecraft.
Allow Minecraft pass your firewalls

ok looks like version 6 64 bit works. thanks.
Edit: Incidently, any way we could get annother dirt sign in RPtown? we appear to be out and there's a small creeper crater hidden in the trees just outside the western wall.
And if Matt isn't going to be coming back, should we take down his house and stuff or no?

Minecraft Forge is supposed to let you install more than one mod at once.

Wait, is Matt not coming back? Can we ask him what he'd like?
By the way, I am now back from out-of-town. Yay.
